Amare, JR & company were not given those orders because they won't be here. So they are still trying.

How bout that Zen?!

maybe phil doesn't know what the hell he's doing and were in for another decade of laughing stock..

So far, the evidence points to that.

Phil cashed in on his reputation. Needs that $60M for his hips, knees, prostate and stomach care and upkeep on multiple properties and extra bling to win back Jeannie.

But he's in over his head as GM. The rings are meaningless. Coaching is very different from running an org and building teams. All Phil ever did was inherit the best players who ever walked the earth. He was spoiled by success, not hardened or primed for this job.

Right now Phil has it easy.

Its a pretty simple equation.

It's in HIS and the KNICKS best interests to
A. lose as many games as possible
B. At some point lay down Carmelo to keep him fresh for the next 4 years.
C. Trade ANY additional asset"if possible" for any 2nd round pick even if its in the year 2028 OR if we can pry away a guy like Nate Wolters to take a look at him for 40 games by using cash to trade with the asset.
D. Once we do whatever we can trading wise--maybe thats nothing? and Melo is laid down--give Wear Acy Larkin Hardaway (or other youngin from D league trade etc..) each 25+ minutes.

F Sleep it off

I agree on your list pretty much, except that is already like reading a Confessional of Failed Dreams. I can be pretty certain you did not feel this would be your list of actions for the rest of the season three months ago.

This is the Fukit list not the bucket list.

Well this might be a lucky adjustment for him. We happen to have our pick thank God and this avenue might just be a godsend. It seems like Jackson had a lot of luck in his life--so maybe he just finds away to walk into it. The only thing I think he needs to do is move away from the angle"I need players who fit the triangle" to I need some MF talent

Agreed, he needs to put down the triangle, but try telling that to the guy in the high school orchestra who doesn't play anything else.

I told you guys that JR wasn't healthy, I knew it, there's no way an athletic guy like that just stops going to the rim, that knee is a problem for him, he has no lift.
