Its important to keep as many "productive" players as we can during the purge. Anyone can break his cahones--hes solid every game. Hes not a C and gets graded by D as one. But he is a tough solid post player who scores and rebounds plays very very hard. Id like to keep him--I really do not think he is a down piece hes just paid way too much for 20 minutes.

totally agree with you here. Glad to see we've settled the "Can Amare and Melo play together" argument. Too bad, I think he's more likely to receive $12MM/year. My gut tells me Phil is going to make his own signings... but we'll see.

You are 100% correct. He contributed heavily to exactly one half season of winning. After that, he hasn't done jack ish.

well if he's been worthless so has everyone that's played with him since he got here, there certainly would be no melo, no tyson, no kidd, no rasheed, no KT and 54 win 2nd rnd season. Because each and everyone of them said the sign on because of amare.

If melo didn't sign, just think, gallo and chandler have been injury prone, felton had one good season, and mosgov was a project. we would have been in the lottery the last 4 seasons, and lets name some of the draft picks that have taked their team to the playoffs.....wake me up we figure them out
