Despite what many think the Knicks are not as bad as they've looked. They can and will eventually play much better.
Fish is also gonna tighten up his rotation as we go from here. It won't be better all at once but it will get better. A soft opponent was what they needed in Jose's 1st game. The next 2 are really tough games. It would be good to at least see the Knicks be competitive in Houston and Dallas.
OK, OK, we get it.
You get what?
We all ask this question of SPLAT every day.
I don't have a problem with someone not liking what I post, but at least stop with the inside jokes only he gets. Contribute to the conversation or don't post. People do it all the time. I've been here a long time and taken TONS of hits. I'm used to it but at least try to add something to the conversation.
We all know this is a transition year and a year to establish the new culture so it's not like any of us is touting this years team as the long term answer. Still it's clear that Phil wants the team to win as well as develop a new culture and way of playing ball. If he only wanted the team to lose and be broken down he could have let Melo walk and started over completely. Why bring in Jose with years on his contract if you want to just lose and get draft picks? A healthy and in mid season form Jose is going to have an impact on this team. This team can and should get better and better from this point forward. May not be enough to win games against Houston or Dallas but over time it should mean a better record than they were due to have without Jose.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

Just looked at the power rankings. We're 4-11 and our opponents' average winning percentage right now is .399 I remember someone here trying to convince us we had a brutal schedule so far

They had it backwards then. The easier part of the schedule is ending and it is about to get tougher. The only thing hard about our early schedule was we have already played a couple more games than some other teams, so a little less rest since the start of the season.
