If Melo is out for a long while, at least it allows us to improve our lottery chances while buying Phil and Fisher some time (which I think they deserve). Also hopefully it allows JR, Shump and Tim jr to plumpen their trade value.

I think we'd cruise along around .200-.250 without him. 8-22 by end of December would mean going 4-11 between now and the end up the year, basically replicating our current pace of .267.

Either we Go Philly Retard* and only win 1-2 games and are 6-24 or we grab a few and gun for a .333 record of 10-20. It seems like that is our ceiling for 2014.

Crap, Philly is now 0-14. Don't recall ever seeing a record like that before. I know Philly won 9 games once, but this is something else.

They are racing way ahead of us. We'll never catch them.

We need those ping pong balls to bounce our way. Is Adam Silver known for harboring a bloodlust for sacrificial rituals?

Melo - Out with Back Spasms. Will Not Play Tonight vs. Mavs.
Previously Reported: Sore Knee since Game #2, no indications of treatment or rest yet.

Bargs - Reinjured pinkie ring. No longer cleared for contact. Will practice drinking tea and working pinkie back into shape.
