He's not really that good, in my opinion. I think we get lust for every young player for 2-3 years, under the label of potential. But he's really not that great.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I like his pedigree and his motor. He needs a real jumper. That what made Damon Stoudemire so good. You had to stay on him or he could drain jumpers all day. Either LArkin cant or lacks the confidence, but he does have a lot of power and game changing speed. There is upside. Lots of it. There is a lot to like with him. Certainly for the $1.6mm we didnt pick up next year. Oh well.

Im not hung up on him, I just dont really get the move by Phil. I agree he's not really that good, but with some time he could be a very nice change of pace backup.

It really is amazing to me how shortsighted we've become when it comes to prospects. How many PG's have started off not being great shooters but then went on to become very good? They say for the average PG it can take up to 3 years for them to fully develop. Just go and look at the top PG's in the league and see how they improved from year 1 thru 3. We won't know what this kid can do for a little while yet. It's possible he never gets any better and I guess in Phil's mind he is wiling to risk losing him based on whatever his overall plan is. None of us know what Phil's real plan is so it's hard to judge.

I agrée 100%.....some fans don't really Know what it takes to be successful. They don't believe In developing talents, but they are quick to overpay for a five year one trick pony. This kid has the grit, the savvy, and the desire to be great. He is a keeper in my opinion. It is not like he can't shoot the ball, he is just trying to appease to the trigger happy players we have on this poorly put together roster. When was the last time Amare ever passed the ball?

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)
