He's not really that good, in my opinion. I think we get lust for every young player for 2-3 years, under the label of potential. But he's really not that great.
I like his pedigree and his motor. He needs a real jumper. That what made Damon Stoudemire so good. You had to stay on him or he could drain jumpers all day. Either LArkin cant or lacks the confidence, but he does have a lot of power and game changing speed. There is upside. Lots of it. There is a lot to like with him. Certainly for the $1.6mm we didnt pick up next year. Oh well.
Im not hung up on him, I just dont really get the move by Phil. I agree he's not really that good, but with some time he could be a very nice change of pace backup.
