Do you honestly think now is the best, most accurate time to judge the trade?

Hey fans wanted Larkin's option picked after

The Cleveland win, dat's how we roll round heya

Briggs, your a bright guy but it seems like you make lots of recommendations based on each game you see.
There is a big picture. How big? Bigger than your daily take aways.

One pays a price to rid themselves of Felton as well.

I'm sure the consensus would be 100% in agreement that having the human version of a rotting wheel of Roquefort cheese named Raymond Felton around would be worth it just to have the greatness of Tyson still here.

Am I right or what?

Are you serious? This was supposed to be a downgrade. The value always was Calderon, Larkin, and draft picks (Early). How can you possbily gauge this before even getting back the most important piece. Dalembert has actually been decent, and so has Larkin. So even without Calderon in the picture, your second sentence is not accurate at all.

the problem is that we are locked into Calderon and we did not pick up crack babys option.

So ... we are relying on Early?

I really like Early and was happy to be rid of Typhus ... lets see how it plays out.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

Oh and don't look now but we have one of the

I think you should look now, because we are top 10 in assist, 16th in fg %, 12th in overall offense efficiency..

Are going to spend a little time researching before you just post what you think

I can see Calderon being around a long time. First as a stop gap floor general, later as a bench player and shooter. I think he opens some eyes when he starts getting burn

I would not at all be surprised to see him here all three years in exactly that fashion. After not picking up Larkin's option, I expect Phil has plans to land the future PG and groom them with Jose sliding to backup when they are ready to start. Could be a draft pick or a signing, but I just feel in my gut that was and is the plan still.

I'm not much of a guesser about future personnel moves, but my hunch is they already know who their top three options are.

extend Melo for 2 more years (at a discount)

resign Bargs near max since as nix says, he is triangle cream with the most efficient mid range shot and pristine one on one defense.

Decline Larkin one more time just for mock kicks

so here is what phil is thinking ....

There should be sign hung over Larkin's locker that says, "We did not extend you and this is a reminder that we still will not extend you so don't ask!"

Shhhhhhhh, he's on a roll.

And he told you not to look now.

Someday, Phil will write a book and explain his reasoning.

to all us unwashed fans.

restating why he would trade away

bad chemistry

And actually have the audacity

to get draft picks in return.

It's funny (not funny)

How the sombers on here

keep changing the goal markers.

We trade away the NBA premier trash PG

and a broken ex-DPOY locker room malignancy

for some cheap pieces and yoots

And we're still an irrationally run organization.

Stay tuned for the JR apologies

when he gets dumped for some more second rounders

and a nice cup of coffee.

17th in FG%<-Yuck

12th in Turnovers<-Yuck

30th in FTA<-YUCKY UCKY UCK

23rd in PPS<-YUCK

22nd in FGA & FGM<-YUCK

Those are horrific numbers

It says our pace is trash and we don't maximize our possessions

The only things we're doing pretty well on

Shooting the 3 ball and hitting our free throws
