Biggest disappointment so far--THJ--obviously this is a small sample but I really thought tHJ was ready for 30 minutes and to expand his game.
Best surprise Shumpert--has been our best two way player.
Calderon will help the team with some more scoring when he comes back but he also gives up on the D. So far I thought Larkin and Pablo have played decent at the top on that end.
Agree on Shump -- he appears to be ready to have a solid season. Also agree on THJ -- his lack of ball/handling, passing and his shot selection have been exposed so far in the triangle -- and he's NOT shown enough improvement on the defensive end. Agree on Prigs/Larkin -- hopefully Calderon comes back fully healthy and doesn't look like a washed up Paul Westphal/Mo Cheeks or Rolando Blackman when we finally get to see him in a Knick uniform.
JR and STAT have been disappointing to me -- just frustrating that JR is struggling with the offense and still having defensive lapses / turnover issues and STATs D is dreadful no matter how some folks may want to spin it. Ex last night - the pick/roll with Andre Miller and then simple pass to Seraphin inside the foul line and rather than put a hand up Stat takes a step back and concedes any easy 13 footer.
