The crowd was awesome there & I hate Boston
(My brother in law worked there)

It isn't the building as much as it's everything else that makes a good vibe to a championship season...or dynasty.

That was a lot of fun to watch, brought back great memories as a fan and a New Yorker.Great behind the scenes look at the team. What I remember the most about those championship Knicks was the way they shared the rock. It moved around from player to player so fast, for a kid anyway. Glad they kept the ceiling more or less the same or I wouldn't be able to tell that it was still MSG. The place looked so futuristic back in the day. Still remember the roar of the crowd the first time me and my Dad walked into the arena.

Rapaport did a great job IMO. If you haven't seen it, I would check out his documentary on A Tribe called Quest called "Beats, Rhymes, and Life." Qtip had some issues with it but I thought that all the members of the group overall were portrayed in a very positive light.

If you do not understand how the building (its sights, smells and unique acoustics... the raw energy of the crowd... right down to the memorable voice of John Condon) is part of the fabric of the franchise, you only come across as ignorant.

Ignorant because I don't buy into the hype. Then maybe ignorant ain't so bad. It's a building. Have the acoustics, smells and sounds gotten the Knicks a championship recently? I don't follow the building I follow the Knicks.

I wish I was there for some of those games. My dad wasn't much of a Knicks fan. It was a very good special. I learned some things and it really gave a nice sense of the mood of NY basketball as it evolved with the franchise.

I loved this... I grew up with the legend of these guys (As the movie said) but I didn't live it. Hell I barely seen footage of most of these guys. I really, really enjoyed that film
