And of all the four major sports, it is basketball pre-season that is miles above the others in entertainment value and meaning. I love pre-season b-ball. You do learn a great deal about your players and the games can be exciting as hell. What other sport's pre-season games has the announcer saying "This game has reached playoff level excitement" as Clyde says for a number of pre-season Knick games. And he is right. The crowd gets very much into it, the young players are obviously playing their guts out, and the stars on the bench go crazy when a young guy sinks a late game shot. Pre-season b-ball is by far the best of all exhibition games. Can't wait for tonight's battle against Toronto.
