Man who the heck cares what he's saying really? This is a very important season. It's the start of a new way of doing things and we need Melo to be at his best playing in this style cuz if he does, not only do we win more games but a possible FA will see this as a good spot to come and play. Everyone is gonna be watching to see how Melo adjusts to this style of play. In a month or so we won't talking about what Melo said during Training Camp.

And just as sad, there are a lot of Knick fans who claim to be unbiased when it comes to Melo but clearly have an agenda against him. This agenda is usually due to a certain player that they wish was still here.

Wanted desperately to rid the Knicks of Jeremy Lin ( how dare that young player do crazy horse **** like show leadership and play team ball! He's making the team better, I better call Leon Rose to make sure we get this crazy mother ****er off the roster !) Done.

I noticed that this part of your checklist got a little more attention than the others.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

it's only stupid if you can't back up what you proclaim or are inaccurate. he doesn't back it up and is inaccurate.

quod erat demonstratum

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Well said. Also just wondering what players willing to sign for mini mid level exception that tge Knicks have had to offer were chased away by Melo.

About two weeks after the Knicks dealt him to Dallas, Chandler reached out to Anthony in an effort to convince to join the Mavericks in free agency.

“It wasn’t strong,” Chandler said with a laugh. “I didn’t ever think he was coming. I didn’t think Carmelo was ever leaving New York. I talked to him because it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t. But I never thought he was going anywhere. I thought if anywhere he was going it was to the Lakers. But when the Lakers didn’t have a strong enough roster to tempt him, I didn’t think he was going to leave.”

So much for his start of the season comments causing disruption and chaos within the team lol

Melo is the last player you would look to for insightful comments. He has just enough brains to use his great talent to be a stud offensive player and a pretty good boarder (because he loves to follow his own shots ), but that is about it.

He never was a leader and he has always been into it for the money, so what's new? He gave the Knicks a whopping 4% discount on the Max after saying he would help out with the salary cap. He has always been a double talker. And hearing him talk lately about how he is an underrated superstar just shows he has not turned over a new leaf and he will always be a prima donna a few fries short of a big mac combo.

That's Melo, take it or leave it, but he is not going to change now. He needs smart teammates to play with more than other stars and we don't have that many A students on this squad, so it is going to be an up and down year and Melo will just have to grin and bear it. He got paid.

I've got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell!
