OK, never-mind.

WTF Man? Do you really think Phil hasn't changed the teams direction significantly? The entire focus now is on a Team Oriented System with more balance. IT'S ALL THEY TALK ABOUT AND WORK ON IN PRACTICE!!! He's only able to do so much right now and still he has the ability to make another deal before the season. What complaints can anyone really have about the moves Phil has made so far tho? Most have been solid and improved the team in terms of how he wants to play. He's got a TOUGH JOB.

I think that he could have done anything and you'd be talking about how great it was. I know we're still outbidding everyone else by miles and even throwing in no-trade clauses just for the heck of it. And I think all the rankings that have us in the bottom half of the league are still accurate. A new system with the same level roster is like getting new seats on the Titanic.
We get. Appreciate the 40x posts a day about how the team stinks with zero insight interest color or anything besides another row wasted in the UK database. Always great to read riveting musings. I know every fan here pines to read young comments daily

You're the self-appointed Evaluator of Poster Effectiveness? Why do you think people care how much you believe they contribute?

Jeremy Lin's Legacy on this board is reaching Ronald Reagan levels...
He almost walked on water at this point.
Too bad reality and history tell a different story for both.

Jeremy Lin is a good BACKUP point guard that could not handle even modest pressure from defenses without morphing into a turnover machine.
The heat game where he could barely get the ball out of the backcourt spoke volumes about his deficiencies...
That and his on-ball and help defense was never any good to begin with.... But the way some talk about him here he was the next coming of Magic Johnson.

I do believe fish is getting a cut of the banner clicks to provide that service to all us homers, yes.

We all care. Fish is our effing Grumpy Homer District Attorney to your self-appointment as Whiney Somber Public Defender of the MeloHateAssociation.

You view the world through a simplistic binary hate/love system. I definitely don't hate Melo. My complaints have much more to do with our team executives. I would have LOVED to have Melo back at a Harden/Ginobili/Duncan/Parker etc. salary.

Jeremy Lin is a HOF PG that would have won us a chip, provided Melo didn't keep him from playing in the playoffs. And if only Melo didn't pay McHale to let Jeremy get outplayed by Patrick Beverly, another HOF PG.

MDA is a coaching mastermind who would have also provided us with several O'Brien moments, had not Melo killed his career, and subsequently paid DHow to tank on him in LA.

Larry Brown and Marbury were much better Knicks than Melo could ever hope to be. Their mere existence validates the fact that Melo can kill off anything valuable even from long distance.

Don't even mention Denver, and all those parades they've been having the past 4 years...

Your view is complicated and intricate because you filter it through dollars and cents? Duncan took less to play with Tony Parker and Manu. Except when he didn't. Wasn't this all displayed in living color ad nauseum in another thread?

So the PG incident teaches us nothing about the transient nature of pro sports salaries?
Your Melo hate has been rebuffed and become old, so now you switch to Phil hate. And the already overdone and overstated Dolan Hate.

Very complicated indeed.

I wish I had a dollar for every time you used the word "hate"

or "Somber". I own the trademark on that one.

I will endeavor to switch to "disappointed". Peace, brother?

Sure, peace.
You realize there's a huge difference between hate and disappointment, though?
