Jeremy Lin is a good BACKUP point guard that could not handle even modest pressure from defenses without morphing into a turnover machine.
The heat game where he could barely get the ball out of the backcourt spoke volumes about his deficiencies...
That and his on-ball and help defense was never any good to begin with.... But the way some talk about him here he was the next coming of Magic Johnson.

You view the world through a simplistic binary hate/love system. I definitely don't hate Melo. My complaints have much more to do with our team executives. I would have LOVED to have Melo back at a Harden/Ginobili/Duncan/Parker etc. salary.

Your view is complicated and intricate because you filter it through dollars and cents? Duncan took less to play with Tony Parker and Manu. Except when he didn't. Wasn't this all displayed in living color ad nauseum in another thread?

So the PG incident teaches us nothing about the transient nature of pro sports salaries?
