I hope Henriquez gets an invite. Very active in the paint.

Henriquez looks raw but he tries to block everything, which is cool.

Larkin can change pace very quickly. ALmost reminds me of MArbury in that regard.

He does a good job of hiding among the trees, and keeping the other team guessing.

They got a bit undisciplined in this game but I like how they tried to rally at the end. I like that never say die attitude. Just keep fighting til the end. Larkin has really come on strong over the SL. THJ got a bit crazy, but he's had a great SL. I like Early's overall game. He's got to be a bit more aggressive but he does a lot of little things on the court. He's gonna be a good one when they get into his head a bit and develop him. I hope they don't give up on Tyler. I think he's still got a lot of upside for a 2 yr old. We can't depend on the older vets since they are injury prone. It would be good to have a young and healthy big on the roster.

Summer League Kobe(THjr) needs to relax a little on offense and not shoot everything that touches his hand. The coaches need to pull him to the side and get him to make a commitment in other areas of his game. I like his toughness and ability but he can do more. He needs that process to start now though before he continues into these bad habits. The Team USA practices comes at a great time for him.

Not happy with how we moved the ball, and this was against the team were I was really impressed with how we played on offense the last time..

Was it a result of changes they made, or did we lost our discipline.

Fisher, just like our last game, is not going to be satisfied with the lack of spacing we were getting on offense. You have to be more active.

Didn't see some of the defensive intensity we saw in previous games, either.

SL Camp Invitees:

Other than the guys from last year (THJ & Tyler) and our picks (The Greek will not make the team this year) or signed player (Larkin), and Brown, I can't see asking others from the SL to come to camp, unless the coaching staff and Phil have some favorites they still feel can make the team or have value in the DLeague.

If we didn't have so many bigs, I might Look at one of the big guys, who actually showed some ability every now and then, but they all have holes in their respective games..

I was hoping that Galloway had a chance after the first Charlotte game, but at this time he does not not seem feasible as a camp invitee. Did not see the intensity of a guy trying to make the squad. Can only see him as a DLeaguer.

The Greek needs a lot of seasoning. Had some moments, but he is not ready. You have his rights, why sign him when he won't be productive this year. As someone like Briggs has done, you can make a case that there were other players on the board who might have been better choices at his spot in the draft.

Henriquez has some big many ability, but not as a scorer. Phil's big men have to hit the short to midrange jumper. DLeague, maybe,

Remember, there are guys in the SL who will not be invited to a training camp, and one or two might be picked up by the Knicks.

I believe the Knicks can protect three players that they take to camp from the dleague draft and have them play in Westchester. They may have different/better guys in camp but if I am picking those guys from the sl squad I would probably go with Moore, Galloway and Henriquez with Thanasis signing in Europe. However, I read somewhere that Thanasis's family followed his brother and all live in Milwaukee so he might be one of the 3.

Wow you guys are getting down and dirty with how you breakdown this game. Remember less than a handful of these guys will make the team. Larkin, early & tenacious unless we stash him

Always like watching the SL and trying to see something in a player that might allow them to stick- especially someone without a big name.

Would also love to have a real "farm" system. I'm old enough to remember when there were many more rounds in the draft. Mike Riordan, who was on the 1969 Knicks title team (one of the "Minute" men) and was traded for Monroe, was actually chosen by the Knicks in the 12th Round in the 1967 draft.

Few guys picked later in the draft ever made it, but having a farm system would be interesting. Some might make it to the NBA, some might be able to go to Europe for more $$, and maybe some just play at a DLeague salary until they give up the dream.

Do you think Tyler's option is picked up?

Yes I knew I was missing someone. I think he's a keeper. Amare & Bargs knick days are numbered. You will here a lot of riff raff about how they I'll flourish in the triangle but it's all smoke and mirrors
