Maybe we can unload Ellington on the Bulls or Pistons for a second-rounder. Ellington's three-point shooting and expiring contract should have some value.I'd like to keep Brown because of his experience in the offense, but he is probably going to be the next guy to go due to our SG glut.

Can anyone think of any teams that have the opposite problem to us (too many bigs and not enough backcourt players)? Might make good trade partners.

There's no such thing as too many bugs in this league. Even guys like Chris Anderson pull $5M per.

Didn't Phil have multiple opportunities to trade Shumpert or am I missing something here?

Then again maybe it's tough to do presently

When you're spending precious time negotiating over the twos and fews with Washington for the force that is Trevor Booker

Chicago. They need a 2 guard. They have an abundance of bigs.

I am predicting that Jr will have a great season. Jr will be to me what Bargs is to Nixluva.

I agree. That or he will really suck and be asked to not join the team.

Dallas could use a shooting guard.... They were looking at Stevenson....why not just take Jr?

I would trade them JR Smith for Brandan wright straight up. Wright being an ending contract.

You take away his Knee issues and he had an efficient year after January. Of course you can't do that but JR should be healthy and is playing in a possible contract year after seeing Marvin Williams get money. Shoot 3s and cut back door is all that he should be ask to do on offense. I doubt he will be ask to handle the ball anymore.

The good thing about Phil is he is't going to rush any trades just to make them happen and he's not gonna make any bad trades that have any chance of hurting his future plans. Everything with Phil is done with calmness and patience. I am expecting him to make a trade to move one or two of our guards and i'm sure he's still looking for way to trade Amare or Bargs.
