I would very much like to see Lebron in Cleveland. As far as Melo there? Lets just say that we can get Parker (a Melo Clone) or Wiggens, or turn around and trade it to Minny for Love, well that would go a long way to dispel any Melo Hate on my part. In a perfect world, Melo becomes Lebrons biytch and we all know his chip is tainted. Plus seeing La La in Clev in the Winter would be funny.

Another reason is we can stop talking about "the trade"!!!!! All participants will have moved on and gotten value!!!

Lets not get too excited. Isola been known to fabricate some crap to get his words out. Those words have ad's attached and the higher the eyeball count, the more they make!!

Not sure gun's this is worth its own thread. Its part of "Melo-a-GO-GO"..........Its a zany ride that goes round and round!

Why would CLE give us the #1 when they are below the cap and can just sign him? This rumor is just too great for the Knicks to be believable, to me at least.

All that being said I would jizz if we landed the #1 for Carmelo.

We'd have to take back salary I would imagine! They need to preserve space to sign Lebron. I wonder if they prefer to give Miami the shaft in retribution?

I wouldn't rack my brain in this one.

Lebron goes back only if Gilbert promises to sell the team to him.

Sam Smith on Mad Dog:

Thinks Melo stays in NY cuz Rose can't be counted on and won't give up that kind of big money. Thinks Lebron stays in Miami because there is no where else to go for him thats better than Miami right now. Thinks Riles is a bit of a hypocrite but it don't bother him.

Next summer NY becomes attractive To lebron. Let the Triangle take hold, get some pieces in place. Build it for him to come.

melo has to take a pay cut at age 30 anywhere he goes. He likes NY.

Lebron
Melo
Irving

Forms a dynamic scoring trio but lacks the defenders needed to compete, though it could be filled if they keep the bird rights, MLE, VET MIN, undrafted players, vet min, and possibly keeping 2nd round pick/purchasing picks

Deng *despite being older, would be a good glue player with that amount of talent though could physically decline greatly at his age like Gereld Wallace did*
Hawes *Will have a lot of WIDE OPEN SHOTS and easy miss matches with PnR's and penetration*

if they can sign one and trade for another, still have the bird rights to both Deng and Hawes as complimentary pieces

5m MLE

Coming or going?
Jack, Waiters, Triston Thompson, Anthony Bennet, Sergey Karasev, Scotty Hopson

Pickes 1 (likely gone if they trade for CA or Lebron, but will they get back other picks) and 32

Verajo, Zellar, Gee,
