Agreed. Younger player who will give up more than 30yrs who will slow down and don't defend

Jeez haven't we learned anything?

This are different this time. We are in good hands for once. We are not repeating the same mistakes

You do not know this. Phil is unproven.

Not worth the cap load

Lee was my favorite Knick. Would've taken him back th last few years but now is time to purge and start a new

I didn't start the rumor....i'm just talking about it.

purge meaning wait to sign someone next year...but who because Love is about to be off the market. Lamarcus Aldridge isn't a game changer in my humble opinion. Rondo isn't leaving Boston. Nobody else worth mentioning....

i'm with a real purge where we suck for 5 years while we home grow a young team through the draft but if so then we need to let Melo walk if that's the case.

Gotta make a decision what you want because we can't have both.

what was he saying about the rumor?

Just that Golden State still appeared to want Chandler - and he was saying Phil should do this deal.

if Tyson and pull david lee and barnes that's huge value.....

who is that younger player you speak of....I want something cold to drink but if the waitress brings me back some piss with ice in it I can't be mad

In not interested in those guys either(Love, Aldridge, Rondo)

Personally I want to draft the next Lebron, Duncan, MJ, Kobe, Shaq, KG etc. Rookie contracts.
Then add pieces via smart trades and free agent acquisitions.

But that's just me. I'm sick

it's huge value....

maybe golden state thinks they can move on with Green at power fwd...Tyson chandler fits what they do especially with the slap out rebounds with the deadeye shooters they have in the back court.

David Lee fits what we are trying to do now....yeah we had him before and he didn't fit because we sucked as a franchise at the time. The Isiah years were some embarrassing days and then he had D'antoni and the whole Lebron decision purge that he fell victim to....it's a different time. David Lee fits the team concept we want to build now.

So if this went down I would totally understand why and would be all for it

I have hard time believing Barnes sucked because of Curry and Thompson. The dude was brutal inside the paint. He made less than 50 percent of his layups. The kid needs to work on his game.

Please keep that stat padding, no defense playing SOB from the Knicks. Was happy to see him leave. Not down on Barnes like some here. Might do better with a different team. Would be nice to move Lee to a third team for someone else.

Plumlee and a 1st would be nice. Miles is not a favorite of mine but give me the cap space and player if Melo is leaving.

SO Basically, GS is going to eat Boguts contract that they just signed him to and play Tyson CHandler ahead of him. When Bogut was on the court their defense was very very good. That's 28M tied up in two players at the same position.

Iggy is making about $11.5M for the next three years.

around 3/$11.6. Now he is the perfect Ron Harper clone but better. I am not sure I would do it but in the triangle his low usuage and passing skills would be nice. The price is just high.

If you are keeping Melo then maybe but if Melo is going it makes no sense.

I want picks and cheap young talent who have yet to reach their prime years. Like Chandler Parsons, Gordon Heyward, Eric Bledoe, Lowry

Those guys are not easy to come by. A young player I like is Khris Middleton because I think he is on the verge of being a good player plus he is behind Giannis.
