Ron is on the LIRR train to "Babble On"!

The value I speak of is the infusion of a system to take a player of obvious talent to enhance the team's output.

If I had a 5 year contract, my goal would be to turn the Knicks championship worthy by year 3, and then you have 2 shots at a title. That's a difficult goal. You will need a lot of luck, but that's how I would be framing things.
Rose is not the answer.

Ego? Phils Ego is huge! Thats a good thing! HE wants power, he wants to teach as well, and that ego needs to be fed success!!

What do we do if we don't hit the home run on 2015 free agent class? I dunno. Fact is a lot of it is not under our control.

Mickey Aronson don't want to go to Tax hell. That is one reason Miami was so thin on the bench. Because of salary structure Spurs starters are on discount deals so the bench can be lush with talent. More important that the system adds value.

Who stays and who goes? Does the system add value to some of our guys or take away from their strength? We even have to ask ourselves do we even want melo?

Not at 23 million a year we dont. At 13-15 yes

Luck is a big factor. Spurs got spotted a 2-0 lead when Ibaka got hurt. Without it? I dunno! Miami maybe matches up better than Thunder and has its threepeat? Best teams don't always win it all.

Diaw shakes loose by Bobcats and becomes a big factor. Kawhi Leonard was a very high prospect and he falls to 15th. Some had him as the 5th best prospect in that draft.

Many moons and stars have to line up. Remember the 90's? WE contended but it never lined up for us. MDA and the Sun's had a two year window they could not get thru. Thunder have a great team and have had chances. Dallas 4 years ago being down 0-2 got a break when Miami went into coast mode after they took their foot off the throddle and used that sliver to build a momentum Miami could not stop. Heat could very well be looking at a 4peat with a bit more luck. They could have just had one chip as well. They were lucky East was as weak. They were fortunate Deron has been injured as Nyets Could have given them a real bad time.

NBA and NHL championships are the hardest to win. NBA usually the best team does rise up. NHL is about momentum.

Harder to win for different reasons the NBA is hard to win because 75% of the league has absolutely no chance before the first game is played.

NBA seeding and playoffs usually get the right teams in its final four. This year was typical.

IM ok with this as the regular season is meaningful for seeding purpose. The 3 and 4 seeds have it the toughest!

Indy crawled in but still got to ECF's.
