Trade his ass. It’s a good move for the Knicks salary cap-wise. The 29th pick will make $959,000 in 2015-16. Shumpert, on the other hand, is set to earn $2.6 million in 2014-15 with a $3.7 million qualifying offer in 2015-16. http://theknicksblog.com/knicks/knicks-could-revisit-iman-shumpert-deal/ I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18

Trade his ass. I doubt Shump could fetch two decent first round picks this year. That said, I'd rather draft a second rounder and add a team option to his contract than draft him 29 if money is an issue. Let's see if we can buy a second rounder and still keep Shump as an asset. If Shump continues to struggle next season than we can still give him away. Someone will take a chance on potential 3 and D guy in the last year of his contract. If we're lucky, maybe he regains some value before we trade him. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.
