1. Hate soccer, respect the running. No fat soccer players, even in goal. Who cares, anyway?
2. Who mentioned baseball? Stay on target.
3. Look around. You're in the middle of a thread that currently disagrees with your premise.
4. NCAA hoops is nice. Makes lotsa money, keeps basketball interesting for the purists and the liberal, anti-establishment crowd. By the way, who cares?
5. Cults. Your reasoning is going further downhill. What's your next post about, facepainting? Your patented Foam finger test?
6. Physicality...riiiight. Take your top 5 largest NBA'ers. Match them against your top 5 skaters. Let me know how that works out for you. Hip checking without girdles can be a bit hazardous to your health.

Its all subjective, but not number 6:

IN NBA this gets you suspended. IN the NHL, this is clean, he goes for the puck............
I don't dispute basketball is not a "contact spoort" but you got guys diving in front of slap shots, checking, skating and them boards pretty much hurt as well. Different sports and different level of physicality.

I forgot that point by point internet debate is a sport for you. Sorry, I don't keep score. Ok, "You win"!!!!

Nobody here says NBA is "Better" than NHL. Its "different". You don't get it. Thats your opinion. Just realize when you go off on "who cares" act, its only cute when Jim Rome or Cowherd does it.

Change of subject.

Dolan on the radio AGAIN!!! This dude is a media whore now? Jimmy getting on the radio and talking up his teams! Nice change of pace.

Maybe someone told him if he stops doing stupid things he won't get grilled for doing stupid things!!!!

without a doubt, +1

The Kings have played in 21 of 21 possible games so far and the Rangers have played 20 of a possible 21. I think they said there were 7 game sevens so far this postseason. The NHL playoffs have been great whereas the NBA ECF was a complete bore and I've already seen SAS versus Miami and don't care to see it again

The NHL had a great post season. I actually think the NBA had one of it's best post seasons too. Lets try to keep things in perspective tho. The NBA is HUGE compared to the NHL. Even uneducated viewers can enjoy NBA but NHL will take some time to understand and follow what's actually happening. If you just drop in on an NHL game it doesn't look like anything organized is happening. It looks like a bunch of lumbering guys banging into each other, losing control of the puck, which is often hard to see and never scoring. I like NHL but these are things average joe's and jane's say. NBA is about to have Lebron and Duncan, Wade and Parker go up against each other. HOUSEHOLD NAMES!!! Even wives know these guys. Heck Parker might have some haters for dumping Eva Longoria!!! Think women don't know about that? Just walk up to any person on the street and ask them to name one of the NHL stars in the Finals. Ask them about the NBA and your more likely to get some good guesses from a non fan. NHL still has a long way to go in order to get penetration like the NBA.

I know nothing about hockey, but I gotta agree with this. Hockey players pull some nice pieces lol MLB players probably come in second.

Yes, and they're wearing them enough gear to make most of that there hip checking and board bumping irrelevant.
They're on skates, and they manage to fall over and run into each other. How physical of them.

This is physicality. Watch the video too. See how easy that looks?

You obviously seem to have a problem actually reading anyone's posts but your own. Broaden that horizon. And you didn't even read point 3. Nice.

Nalod wrote:Its "different". You don't get it. Thats your opinion.

Different is fine. The jrod has no problem with different. Stop arguing with yourself. It's tiring to respond to. For someone who cares nothing for internet point by point arguing, you sure work hard at it.

Nalod wrote:Just realize when you go off on "who cares" act, its only cute when Jim Rome or Cowherd does it.

The point stands: it's still only hockey. Tell me how there's millions of people all over the earth who do care. Remember the year there was no hockey? Neither do I.

Now that's cute.

Yes, Physical vs. athletic.

Man was meant to fly.

You neither win Jrod or lose. Its subjective. You don't get hockey, we get it. Nobody cares.
