Both He and Kerr made the right choice. I really hope it doesn't end up being Fisher.

why the hate for fisher? i don't know if he'll be a good head coach or not (if named) but if phil goes with him, you gotta trust it.

Well I always have disliked him as a player and then there's of course this:

Doesn't strike me as the good guy he is labeled as. Kinda like a Kevin Johnson type, minus the political standing and multiple underage sex cover ups.

Wow! That was one nasty articles. Did not see anything about underage sex cover ups though.

Kevin Johnson is the one with underage sex coverups. He's involved with one of those charter school organisations(and is married to Michelle Rhee) and there have been multiple allegations, with recording of him, of him improperly touching and having relationships with some of the girls there.

ugh ... seriously? And I really like that guy!

I guess it makes sense then that he would go into politics and not the nba.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

Man, I had no idea KJ had this type of baggage...

Sacramento, CA: (May-20-08) A girl, who wished to stay unnamed, brought a sexual molestation lawsuit against Sacramento mayoral candidate Kevin Johnson, alleging that Johnson, who was 29 and playing for the Phoenix Suns, molested her when she was 16. Court papers reveal that Johnson denied the girl’s allegations in the suit, though he agreed to pay $230,000 to resolve litigation. Johnson stated that he will pay some money upfront and the rest in six-month installments. Sources for the girl said that some of the money was to be used for medical, therapy and legal costs.
As part of the settlement agreement, the girl and her mother were restricted from talking publicly about the case, which originally sought $750,000 in damages from the Sacramento mayoral candidate.

You pay someone $230K to be quiet? And then hope that's going to be the case? KJ's got some pretty dumb lawyers working for him...

I have come to learn, as a Knocks fan, that you definitely DON'T have to trust in anything the Knicks do. Most of the moves they make are questionable at least.

That's a bit too simplistic a take on things. Phil has never been our team president and so we really don't know what he's going to do and can't view his moves in light of what we have seen this team do in the past. I only know what Phil has stated he wants to do and what he's done in the past himself. He's about TEAM BB and that's what we need here. He's about winning BB and that too is what we need.
