He could actually fit in Houston, but again it just doesn't seem right for Lebron.Going back to Clevland makes sense...he would get his fans back and Lebron does care about his image. He could finish his career as the prodigal son that came home and made good.
Going to NYC would be about Legacy. If Lebron won a championship for the Knicks he would go down as the greatest player in history. None of the greatest could say they won here with all the odds against him. it wouldn't matter that Jordan and Magic had more rings...Lebron winning NYC that ring after 45 years of futility....he would be immortal. I think Lebron cares about that. Truth is his career in Miami is tainted because of the whole decision. He has a lot of bandwagon fans, but no respect from the basketball community. Again him winning for the Knicks would sit him at the top of the hill.
Lebron has earned my respect. The immature "Decision" and the fanfare that went with it was awful. The finals colapse to Dallas looks to me the turning point for that maturation and seemingly Lebron stopped clowning and his game went to another level. I am no fan of his but I know what I see and he is carrying his team on his back when he needs to. The court vision and the power is on another level.
Im not fawning or even want to engage in "Lebron or Jordan" because ones legacy is locked while Lebrons is still a work in progress. I just know what I see on the court. With Wade not showing up on some nites and Bosh being a borderline all star player the Miami trio is more about him than the three guys that colluded. They are not invincible nor dominant in their era as the bulls or lakers were but come playoff time this team is excellent and Lebron shows why he is the best player on the planet today.
Love to see him in a knick uniform.
Him to Clevelend does make more sense.
