then

Chandler to OKC for Lamb Perkins and OKC 22. Bam rebuilt and waiting for free agency. If we got enough pieces like that--Lebron in 2015

This is why we will never win a championship. We are so fast to bring someone in and twice as fast to see them go for nothing. We have a star in Melo and yet we can't see that. 10 more years of doom and gloom. Oh thats right Phil Jax is bringing in LeBron.

If Melo decides he does not want to play here--do you want to get nothing? That package would be somewhat comparable to what we gave out to get Melo--not as good but we arent in the best position. If we put really good pieces in place and competed made the playoffs we should be able to acquire a high quality free agent in 2015. Our team led by Melo this year having his best year was 37-45. Id rather he stay but this is a free country last time I checked.

I agree. I think this all has to do with Melo. If he does decide he wants to leave then Phil needs to get the best package available and I think Houston has the best available package out there. Next would be Chicago.

Houston fans are killing me. Melo can go there and the team will still probably be disappointment next year. McHale is a lightweight coach and Harden plays worse D than THJ. In fact, everyone on that team not named Howard or Beverly is suspect on D. Anyway, I'm not really thrilled with anyone on Houston's roster besides Harden and Howard. I could do Lin, Asik, Parsons and two first rounders. Terence Jones can be added in lieu of draft picks.

If Terrence Jones and Chandler Parsons as the 4th and 3rd best players respectively, can't help the Rockets get out of the first round, what makes you think that they will do much of anything for us? I understand that something is better than nothing but Morey would have to come better than that.

You would need another team that can give us huge contracts in return for Melo. You have any other teams outside Chicago and Houston that can do this? Houston has Asik and Lin. Chicago has Boozer. Lakers don't have a contract to move for Melo. Clippers have but they are not getting rid of Blake Girffin or Deandre Jordan.

You got anybody else?

Worst case scenario. Like I said, not really thrilled with most of the players on Houston's roster. I'd be happy with Beverly and a pick in place of Parsons and Jones too. Beverly is a solid three-pointer shooter and he wouldn't have to worry about making as many plays in the triangle.
