Awesome logic.

Glad you're not Phil.

What's your plan with Amare? You're going to persuade him to void his contract?

In the world of this thread, I'd trade him straight up for Peckovic and still pay 3/4 of his contract for Minny.
You would rather build a team around him?

Small sample size maybe?

The brilliance of Amare could be getting a "Josh Smith" type guy that another team might want out of but under the triangle and some ReZenification is transformed into a rising phoenix from the ashes a bloated contract!

THats a possibiltiy. I would almost say the same about Bargnani! Mobile 7 footer with handle in traffic, can go to the rim and shoot!

This is where PHil and his coach can earn their value. The fan's notion that what "has", will always be leaves little to the imagination!

On the other hand we can't be naive to the point that PHil sprinkles magic ZenDust on Melo, Bargs and others making all their warts go away as well.

I reserve the right to be open minded though.

If Phil brings in griffin from Cleveland I hope Hetzel (coach of the charge) is brought along either to coach the d league team or to have some role coaching the Knicks.
I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18

I think that's closer to the brilliance of Dolan, Isiah, and Layden all morphed into one brain!

So the choice is to wait 12 months and have $20 mil per to spend on any FAs or take on the one of the worst long-term contracts in the league right now from Josh Smith
