Little man syndrome

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Everyone has to start somewhere. Danny ainge and the Doc. Coach pop was new to the game too staying out right? Jerry Krause and Phil?

Correct me if I'm wrong but all those guys were rookie gm and coaches when they started out together

Hmm, I know Doc Rivers had coaching experience before going to Boston, he won Coach of the Year with Orlando. And Phil Jackson coached in the CBA before joining the Bulls. Ainge had been a coach but I don't think an exec.

Forgot about Orlando. He had tmac and Hill. I stand corrected. What about Pop when he came in?

I think he had been an assistant coach at a couple of places but he was GM when he took over head coach.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

I kinda like the idea of bringing in Kerr as head coach. Let him come in with Phil and work off each other/work together. Kerr's a bright, engaging, charismatic guy. Always comes off knowledgeable whenever I've seen him talk hoops...I think he's been around enough good coaching to have absorbed a thing or two. Best of all -- he has prior GM experience, so you know when he'll have his personnel meetings with Phil, he'll actually bring something to the table. He knows that end, evaluating players around the league, etc.. He'd be a coach that would actually have something to contribute in those meetings, a guy that would probably keep up with players around the league, who's out there, who could help his team, etc. I like the pairing..
