I probably can't do that but I'm sure Phil might be able to get him to do it. JR is pretty decent on defense he plays the passing lanes well effort all the time is JR's big problem on Defense. But make no mistake I can't stand JR and would throw him to the curb. Can any of these guys play the type od defense that wins championships that is the question. Defense is all about effort.

Actually, he probably did when he was in LA and shot a 39 FG% snd a 32 3P%. Ron Harper was not that great of an offensive player at times in his career. HE did grab some boards and distribute pretty well.

People forget Ron Harper the Cleveland Cav. He was a scorer and I am sure he did pretty much what JR did. JR in a triangle system would do wonders for his game and I'm sure he will curtail a lot of his current game.

Ron Harper was never a bonehead like JR. NEVER. He was not the highest pct shooter but let's not start to compare these opposite players.

I do agree that the triangle can help JR and his chucking.

I know what JR is. We all know not to trust him. But JR if you look past his idiotic behavior is very talented and a decent ball handler and when focused is not a bad passer. Do I like JR hell no like I said you can't trust him but are we stuck with this bonehead we are. With that said if Phil comes here and runs a triangle type system I can see JR being a big PG in the system.

That would require Phil to be able to get to JR and change him. We all know he has talent but most of us don't think he could ever not be a bonehead.

2.2 assists for his career is pretty awful, 3.0 this year, a bit better.

I wish he would either drive to the hoop or shoot off passes. The shake and bake sh1t and the contested DUMB shots is what will always make him suck.

I do think that he is a decent defender and rebounder and woody likes his matchups in the switching defense. He can guard almost anyone.

IF ONLY WE COULD MAKE HIM LESS DUMB!
