Unfortunately, no. Their PG is so awful that its not possible. Also, how often are we gonna get games like these from stat? He is bound to punch something or strain a nut or something. And, they are still living and dying by the outside shots. Until the knicks are consistently willing to move the ball and take smart shots I have little confidence. I also don't like that Melo plays so much better in the first half then the second half. Too many minutes? Gets more selfish? both? Idk just don't like it. Cleveland triple teamed him every time would like to see him burn that a bit more. The interior D tonight was excellent. Their guards (mainly PG) were awful as usual giving up way too much penetration. so here is what phil is thinking ....

Have to wonder if the Knicks waive Clark or Brown to sign Bobby Brown when he comes back from china.CrushAlot wrote:mreinman wrote:Hawks have lost 14/15 and play the clips tonight. You want a pissing match, at how many points in 1999 were we third in the division? My comparison is about just making the playoffs and no one expecting anything, not comparing records. The memory of that team is "Now starting at center for your NBA Finals New York Knicks...Chris Dudley!" Thank you, JVG. Faults indeed. Your self-respect would be better served by also being self-aware. |

The Changling is not living and dying by outside shots. He's living at the rim, per usual. Stat's going to the hole, almost Dream-like at times; we've got 4 years of karma that the basketball god owes us the rest of the season with Stat just like this. Those double doubles come in real handy when you're only winning by 10 or less points. I listen to the games. Folks are hitting open outside shots. Melo is getting 4-5 dimes a game. What do you want, a layup line? Our PG play is the documented achilles. Move on. We arent' getting Rondo or Lowery or Wall or Kyrie. It is what it is. Hopefully Ray can manage not to pizz his pants too badly the rest of the way, and Prigs doesn't break down again. Great to have met you Toure, have a nice trip back to the NBDL. 3 down, 2 to go. Or maybe 18 to go! 4 real starters and clunky PG. 3 ex-starters waiting on the bench. Everybody stay healthy, and playoffs, here we come! |

![]() If they do get in I'd actually prefer Indy now, as opposed to the beginning of the yr when I thought we'd actually be good and matchup better w/ Miami.
W/ Indy, they are still somewhat unproven and the Knicks, at the 8 seed, would basically be playing the series w/ no expectations. Although we will have to deal w/ "verticality"... Oh the verticality.... |

Missed the last 3 games because I was away, and I know he's been putting up nice numbers, but I cannot wait until he and his big contract are gone. Just think Indy has a greater propensity to get tight in a first round than Miami. I honestly don't see the Knicks winning more than 2 games in the 1st rd. |

And if this team should do the unthinkable and get to the Finals, would you still have fonder memories of Chris Dudley and Charlie Football and Ewing in a boot? Stay on target. Relax, I'm just trying to be overly happy with a 4 game winning streak in the midst of existing in Somber heaven right now. And I still hate anything that includes Chris Dudley at all and Spree playing SF. Pinkie: the only quote I could find that had 'You got a problem?' in it.
