Chandler is older, slower, not as athletic, and he has been exposed with the Knicks
This is why we shouldn't depend on 30+ year olds who are not freaks of nature or is very skilled in many areas

I said this way before the trade deadline, if we continue to lose, we have way more to lose than gain, and that effects the next 5 years of the franchise
With all those rumored trades, I am surprised we had to even think about executing one of them

Dolan believes in Woodson like he believed in Isiah, "We can still win the Atlantic", now down to "We can make the playoffs"

I think Dolan/Mills are giving Woodson the year. Dolan doesn't like to fire guys. He wasn't going to fire D'Antoni, was forced to replace Isiah, was very emotional when he let Layden go etc. I think Woodson gets the rest of the season and then the team moves on. The Knicks need a basketball guy to be named gm. Maybe from in house or bring someone in. Let that guy hire his coach and check in with everybody around the draft about potential moves to be made.

How do you get 105 rebounds in 6 games if you've mailed it in? Serious question - I've only watched pieces of the games lately because they don't seem worth watching.

Have our opponents really missed that many shots?

I am disappointed to hear Chandler open his mouth like this. We all know its bad, but take a page from the Metta World Peace play book and be gracious. You are being paid millions to do a job, there are people out there struggling to put food on the table and pay the mortgage.

Who is next in line to play center for the knicks?

Get rid of Tyson but we ready to hand the keys to Tyler?

I thought Tyler did a great job in Detroit - he came in during a stretch in the second half, was a force on the boards where we were getting killed, and as soon as we left, the team collapsed.

I think if we want to win games now and build for the future, we should be giving the young guys more, regular minutes.

If I were Woodson, next game, I would start all young guys and Melo - just to send a message.

Maybe I don't do that the rest of the year, but I think though players like Chandler and Amar'e are 'getting their numbers', they aren't giving as much as they can.

+ 1, we need to develop Tyler, he has potential to be similar to a 1st round pick

This is a major concern. A lot of people focus on our backcourt issues but after Tyson our front line is very thin.

If we get rid of him we are left with Amare - who is basically done, and Tyler who is not ready. Bargs is a non factor in my book because of his consistent injury issues - Amare might fit in that category too.

what isn't Tyler ready for? You mean if we throw him out the rest of the season for 20-30 minutes a game, we might lose everyone of them?

Because I see that as a real possibility with Chandler.

He is raw, there is no denying that. You and I both know Woodson isn't going to play him for 20-30 minutes per game and develop him.
