dolan is the worst owner in sports and will not change.

there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

you're all grown men/women. there is no such thing as "bleed orange and blue" anymore.

why subject yourself to this? why not just quit the franchise? it can be done. i'm living proof.

I can't say being a Knick fan made me this way. More like me being this way made me right for Knicks fandom. I used to think about it more, but you reach a certain age you know who you are. Now I live in a little room, out in the country behind a bar, work four nights a week, and in between I drink. And there ain't nobody there to stop me. I know who I am. And after all these years, there's a victory in that.

True Detective?

Hah yeah. Couldn't think of anything more fitting to quote from.

And this is probably one of the top ten reasons right now to continue bleeding blue and orange.

the whole "time is a flat a circle" can relate to the knicks too... just one big "**** you" time and time again.

I've thought about it for a while now. I've been a Knicks fan my whole life, but I'm from and live in Connecticut. I could never be a Celtics fan, but if an NBA team ever started in Connecticut, I'm pretty sure I'd jump ship. Not because of the losing, that's not too bad. Just because of the ownership.

lol - the jehovah's witness line was great.

i ask b/c i'm curious. i know alot of folks here so it's why i pop my head in from time to time.

there really is a bleak future. why are you all subjecting yourself to this? at what point do you just walk away?

well i guess there's something to be said about sticking around through all the tough times. but this is like living with pookie from new jack city and hoping he stays sober.

That stuff blows my mind - life is a loop and when you die you are just reborn into yourself to re-live the same life over and over, destined to repeat the same mistakes - that would mean we have all been suffering these awful Knicks for an eternity!

Well DJ, I don't use ten dollar words as much as you, but for a guy who sees no point in being a Knicks fan, you sure fret about it an awful lot; and you still sound panicked.
