I have to agree with the sentiment here. It is just not worth it to emotionally invest in a team that is run by inept management.
Yeah, if by some chance of luck and more likely, Divine Intervention, that this time (IN SPITE of Dolan) is able to field a winner, I'll watch.
But I'm not going to root for an owner who rips his fans hearts out and NEVER listens to their desires.
He could have given us a teeny bit of hope bringing in Fredette, just being the guy is a New Yorker, can shoot great, tries on defense and WANTS to play here. (That last one is getting rare.)
Remember years back when Patrick Ewing Jr. was just loved by fans, played a great game (that last game he got some time) and was just dust in the wind after that. AND yet there is a place for Chris Smith?
The fans voiced their opinions with Lin. They called in to express that and we are rewarded with Felton (who I did want as a 2nd or 3rd backup.) And lets not forget the Geriatric bunch.
It just seems like we are not listened to and so much of the game is the fans.
We are constantly getting smacked.
I would rather just watch college guys play. Hopefully they get paid and are not abused. Maybe an NBADL team would be great and give us chance as we could spend money on scouting to fill that team...
