Pointed a gun at her head? Where did you read that?

Thats what the paper said. Agree with point here-these people sounded like War of the Roses but only after 16 months? That is fast work

To BRIGGS' credit, it was the headline of the NY Post article:

http://nypost.com/2014/02/25/knicks-raymond-felton-being-questioned-by-cops/

But the article copy never refers to it, only "waving". Remember, its the editors who write the headlines, not the reporters.

And the Post sucks. The Feltons are on their front page today. What a rag.

There is no effective difference between waving a gun around and pointing it at someone; it's an implied threat either way.

People need to be careful with their posts- he didn't point it at her. Also he hasn't been found guilty yet of what he has been accused of.

Thank you for asking this question. I'm telling you, this story has taken on a likeness to a runaway train.

Raymond Felton is practicing with his teammates. He's working with the #Knicks starting unit. He's expected to make a statement later today

Felton unless accused of a violent crime should play. There is wide discretion of what happened that we don't know.

Until such time he is convicted and is not a distraction to the team, or to ticket sales.

If he was having a great season would we be as harsh on him?

I doubt it.

A possible felony is still a possible felony. The man was arrested. Say goodbye to NYC, Ray. Divorce is an ugly, ugly thing.
Funny, remember when folks wanted to pull the plug on JR because of a moped violation, some twitter pics, weed and shoelaces?

Anyone started a pool on how many pages in we are before this turns out to be Melo's fault?

Not so fast, BRIGGS...

(from today's NYT... http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/26/nyregion/knicks-raymond-felton-is-arrested-on-gun-charges.html?ref=sports)
At 12:50 a.m., Felton turned himself in at the same station house and remained in police custody for the next 18 hours as he awaited arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court. At 5:40 p.m., Felton appeared before Judge Diana Boyar to answer charges of one count of criminal possession of a firearm and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree. The top charge carries a maximum penalty of seven years in prison.

Felton was not charged with using the weapon in a threatening manner, which would have created other legal complications for him.

all that proves is that she might have not realized Ray's contract could be voided by the league if he goes to jail and she changed her story when she realized there would be no payout

just read where Woodson said he didn't think it was a distraction, Chandler said the same thing.....and then the last sentence in the article

"All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony did not practice Wednesday due to "personal reasons," the team said, but he was slated to accompany the Knicks to Miami."

Yup, not a distraction.

we need a thread for that? I just thought it being Melo's fault was common knowledge and we have just moved on...

Menacing someone with a firearm is nothing. A bs misdemeanor. Whether or not he pointed the gun at his wife isn't important when compared to the 265.03 sub 03 charge he's facing in regards to the loaded firearm.
