Jimmer wouldn't just be to try to improve this dumpster fire of a season. He's a 25 year old with potential that could possibly be signed to a very small deal. He's at least worth giving a shot for the rest of this season.
I agree with you I just don't think there is reason to get excited given the actions of the knicks FO and coach.
Yeah, me neither. And I don't think he'll sign up for this circus anyway. He'd really be better of with almost any other team in the league. Off the top of my head I think the Lakers make the most sense for the rest of this season. Their backcourt is in shambles so he'd be almost guaranteed playing time and he'd be playing in a system that would best showcase his talents.
Ny can offer him to start the rest of the year and that's something I guess. I wonder if Utah might make a claim but other than that the kings tried to trade him since he got there and no one pulled the trigger.
Yeah, but so could the Lakers. And the Bulls could guarantee him a bunch of time. Also, I wouldn't trust Woodson if I were him.
You would start Jimmer over Marshall a true PG? Also, is Heinrich playing two again with Butler out? I don't think Jimmer is a Thibs guy regardless though. I wouldn't quite trust him but his option may be thin. If NY was smart enough to target and get him it would give him a chance to show case himself with heavy minutes with a lot of spot up opportunities playing with Melo. MDA would be a nice choice though to get your value increased as a pg though.
I was thinking that LA could start him at the 2 and go with a dual PG backcourt which was very successful for us and Phoenix. As for the Bulls, if Nate Robinson could play successfully for Thibs I think anyone can and with all their injuries in the backcourt they could definitely use another healthy body.
Maybe, I think Nate is a better defender and was more of a facilitator coming over from Golden State. Nate's numbers resembled Ty Lawson's from points, ast rate, and etc. NY is probably not Jimmer's best choice and like I said before I doubt they would like him unfortunately. Woodson wants veterans to make a feeble attempt at the 8th spot.
