We are the most hated team in the NBA. By the refs and GMs. Our only hope is through draft and CBA or over seas. Expect no help.

Yes we must rebuild. We are on our own. No one will help us in trades. Also players will use us like they have been for years to get more money. So lets buy draft picks , keep our own picks, get players from the CBA and players from over seas. Let's get a good coach and GM in here and grow this team. As for Melo he will be about 34 years old before we will be able to compete so maybe he should leave and let him get his ring because of what I see now this team is bad and all of the player we think is good are just fair. Our defense suck and they all must go because we must bring in new young blood. Dolan needs to sell this team now!!!

please give some examples of what players use the knicks to get more money, or the gm's that refuse to take any of our vastly under performing players on this roster

Amare? Jerome James? The most blatant example to me was Wilson Chandler, if I am not mistaken, prior to being in the Melo deal the Knicks started having contract discussions with him and he was looking for insane money, as close to max as possible. No way he even locates the balls to do that with another team.

please tell me where did you read that? come on now..

This was on Twitter and Bleacher Report. Take it for what it's worth. I tried to find it but only found references to it on google but no direct quotes. There was a lot of back and forth as to if it was his demands, the CBA, a combination of both. At the end of the day, regardless he was asking north of 10 mil per and ended up with way less than that. I was really proud of the Knicks for putting their foot down for once. Players like him typically get what they want from the team.

WILSON CHandler was a good young player for the knicks.. very good.. I would rather overpay him than give guys like Bargnani 13 mil a year... and overpay guys like tyson chandler...

Here you go again, absolving this clown of the mess he created here.. Let him go get his ring? where?????? you act as if getting a ring is like going to the store and buying milk.. carmelo can't get a ring because this bozo doesn't know how!!!

No one will help us in trades.

and why should they.. teams make trades to help themselves.. it is the knicks responsibility to make sure they get what they need...

Also players will use us like they have been for years to get more money. So lets buy draft picks

true, players have used us to ramp up prices, but instead of buying picks, lets start keeping the ones we have..

Dolan needs to sell this team now!!!

I agree with that 100%

Papabear Says

So you call Melo a Bozo? LOL Melo will make in one year more than what you will make in a life time. So who's the Bozo? He is ranked around 4th or 5th in monies made by all basketball players out side of his salery so who's the bozo? You are You think about Melo 24-7 and LOL Melo dosen't even know that you exist. You are just a fart in the wind. So who's the Bozo? You are.

he is a bozo because he is... I rather make less money than be a bozo an idiot and a fool.. what does money have to do with one being a fool.. you want dolan to sell the team yet he will make more in a quarter than you and carmelo combined in your lifetimes... is dolan not a bozo?

You think about Melo 24-7 and LOL Melo dosen't even know that you exist.

LOL you defend him like you were his baby momma.... he doesn't need to know I exist.. the advantage i have is that I know he exists and that he is a moron and a loser... and that guys like you grown men will hang his poster up in your room and whack off, while making post like the one you just made.. rofl...

i am certain that the league as a whole has figured out carmelo anthony's actual value by now. he's merely an all-star reserve type player on a ****ty team of his own making, putting up inflated numbers that don't translate to winning in real playoff series. it's probably exactly what he wanted. this report is just the tip of the iceberg.

he's in for a rude awakening. no smart front office is going to offer more than 15 million for this perennial also-ran fool's gold ****head.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I agree with you on the Tyson deal 100%. Totally disagree about Wilson Chandler. Thought they were starting to turn the corner with that decision but nope. Amensty Billups after they picked up the option to sign Tyson, while leaving Amare uninsured. I know u didn't like the Melo trade but that is the reason they suck and that is the reason this pick will be good this is yr. This team will never turn the corner giving away freebees like the amnesty to protect them on the Amare deal.

and If the knicks were smart they would not offer him the max and dare him to find it elsewhere..

amnestying billuips to sign tyson chandler has proved to be a horrible move.. especially since we didn't have a PG of that caliber to replace him.. and other than LIN, haven't come close to getting a PG that could outplay the opponent a good portion of the nights..

Pretty sad that the best pg the Knicks have had in years can't even start on another team.
