How can a team with Melo, Amare, Tyson, and hardaway be 20-32? Can't even make the 8th seed in the pathetic eastern conference? Yea our PGs suck but there's more to it than that. Look at Chicago and Charlotte. Al Jefferson misses a month and they maintain a lead on the Knicks in the standings. Chicago loses Rose and trades deng and win at a greater clip. Brooklyn loses every player at various points in the season and they are ahead of the Knicks. Boston is doing a total rebuild and they are right there with the Knicks. Toronto is rebuilding and they are leaving the Knicks in the dust

Incompetent organization from the top down

With Walsh and Grunwald gone, I am not so sure I have faith in the Knocks drafting abilities anymore.

Why are the Knicks wasting their time with malcontent like Shumpert. THJ needs max exposure he has star potential. I drew comparisons to Ray Allen. Knicks are just a dumb organization they don't know when a star falls into their laps. I guarantee you after THJ is finished with his Knicks career he will be nothing but a role player. This organization will waste his talents.

Playing with Melo is going to hurt THJ too. As soon as THJ starts making headlines Melo will freeze him out. Melo can be an attention whore. When Lin became bigger than Melo he couldn't stand the attention Lin was getting.

Melo needs to realize that his running mate is THJ. He is a serious player not like JR and definitely not like weak minded Shumpert. If Melo wants to recruit go get a star PG go get Rondo. Ask for a better coach and be willing to move with out the ball.

This is why DRAFT PICKS are important. I wish the Knicks organization realized this 10 years ago

With the Knicks it's always about recruiting STARPHUCHS. They have their own STARPHUCHS under ther ****in noses but are to stupid to realize it. Lee, Lin and Hardaway come to mind. Even Nate to an extent

Nevermind all the traded picks like lamarcus Aldridge, Noah even Nene or Amare and god forbid the nuggets win the lottery with our pick this year

Let's go recruit Love or Rondo and trade Hardaway, Shumpert and Tyler along with 2 1st round picks and 2 second round picks. Let's trade amare and Bargs expiring contracts for more malcontents and injury riddled players

The New York Knicks way

Imagine if the organization hadn't made even one trade or FA signing (other than vet mins to fill the roster) over the past 5 years. We just drafted players. We'd be in a much better position right now!

OKC Thunder. One of the smarter organization other than the Spurs. They drafted their own talent and have been good for years and will continue to be good for years

Mozgov
Lee
Melo or Zbo
Hardaway
Lin

Shumpert
Tyler
Murray
JR
Nate
Copeland

Plus cap flexibility and mid level exceptions

This is what could've been had we not undervalued our own young players and trade every last asset and pick. Or in some cases let assets walk because their contract offers were "RIDICULOUS"

Maybe THJr is taking over the game because he has been getting minutes.

He is not a star being held back, he is a young player learning the game and got hot as hell in a game against a peer group not playing great defense.

Woodson has done a great job with this kid, not holding him back.

Then why is he ALWAYS On the bench late in games? Except for one time Melo might've been out

Don't you want as many options on the floor as possible late in games or do we want to dump the ball to Melo every time knowing the defense is expecting just that?

He is by far our most efficient guard. Why he is not on the floor late is beyond me

NBA is quite an adjustment. Very few play a lot of mpg their rookie years. He's used to playing 35 games a season. You want him to play 30 mpg for 82 games? He'd probably get injured and people would say Woodson rode him into the ground.
He's actually playing 31 mpg this month anyway.

So you can spare 4 of those 30mins to put him on the floor late in games so we don't have to watch Melo and JR go 1 on 5?

We've lost at least 15 games late with late game blunders and poor and predictable late offensive play calling

It doesn't matter anyway. When we do a sign & trade to please Melo THJ will be the 1st to go as teams will hold our hands to the fire AGAIN knowing Dohlan's history
