Not sure what your point is regarding players making $20 mil. Are you jealous? No on is stopping you from going out and making as much money as you possibly can. There are very few athletes that take less money. The point of this thread is that Lebron chose Miami knowing that the tax implications would equalize his "NET" salary compared to signing in NY. So essentially he is making as much in Miami playing with his buddies, as he would have made in NY with a max deal. Really not a difficult concept to understand. Of course you obviously have a problem with high player salaries and try to compare what a professional athlete makes with what an ordinary Joe makes.....rationalizing that players should give back since they (and families) are set. Unfortunately life does not work that way in a capitalistic, market driven society. You claim you are a business owner....surprised that you don't understand this concept.
