The problem is just that. We can't rely on a player that needs a good point guard to be effective. we are trying to win games not help a singular player fit better.
What tyson brings is a myth and the same could be said of Shump. If they were what their mythology aid they were we would be a 3rd seed in the east.
Well then you address the problem - get a better PG. I mean, I hope for Tyson's sake we trade him. I'm sure he didn't realize what he was getting himself into when he signed here.
Shumpert's never even been a double digit or an efficient scorer, let alone both.
Please stop apologizing for a Tyson ..He has been a huge disappointment..He doesn't always play hard..He dogs it..He didn't know what he was getting into??..Playing hard and earning his 14 mil per year??
Of course, I wish he still had the energy he had when he was 27. The Knicks got an all-star and DPOY year out of him. They should have realized that by the time he was in his thirteenth and fourteenth seasons he'd be slowing down. How many championship players in their 13th season would be motivated to play on a .390 team? How many 7'1" guys even last thirteen years?
Championship players are motivated by pride of their play and leadership not by the standings..He did contributed Dallas' success but he was in the right place at the right time..U can't teach height, Jason Collins lasted 14 years..
So championship players are heroes who in a 2 decade career are never influenced by their surroundings?
He already has the ring and a nice number of individual awards. It's only going to be a few "haters" who remember his career for being a low energy guy in his 13th season.
13th season??..He got destroyed by Hibbert in the playoffs, 12th season..He was a no show against Miami in the playoffs, 11th season..Guess I must be a "hater" to expect more from a "Championship Player"..I didn't know you had the option of resting on your past laurels once you obtain the ring..
