1. What is watching games like for you now?
Frustrating, because I want the Knicks to play harder, with passion, the way I would play if given the chance.
2. Do you even still watch whole games?
Depends on the game: I watch if it's close or if the yoots are playing. I tune out if it's like that Nets game the other night.
3. How do you feel when the Knicks falter?
Feel like they are not trying to win, don't care, are pampered athletes who are looking beyond their time in Orange and Blue...which disgusts me.
4. How do you feel when they rally?
Hopeful. I always believe there is a chance to turn things around. So much of the failure is about attitude. These guys are great athletes. With the right leadership (**looking at you, Woody**), and a skilled PG, this would be a different story
5. Do you care if they win?
Usually, but starting to lose interest as they continue to slide back away from contention.
What is being a Knicks fan to you on January 23, 2014?
Basically, it's an opportunity for me to teach my kids (both of whom play competitive hoops) what it means to play with passion, to always give 100%, to trust teammates and play as a team, to not give in to fatigue or frustration or negativity. The NYK are a good example of the opposite of these lessons, so they provide a nice counterpoint to use as an example.
