Too bad we didn't catch him in his prime. Turned into one of the best passing big men in the league at the time.

No one brought Tim Duncan. Dude has never had a losing season.

And I guess you can add Tony Parker and Manu ginobli to the list as well.

I read the initial post wrong. I saw tkf was referenced and I assumed I was supposed to be naming players who had losing seasons. Whoops!

Big Shot Bob. Probably the most interesting for me. He actually never had a losing season in 16 years. Playing for 4 different teams. The closest to having a losing season was in 96/97 playing 500 ball with the Suns, but then he was traded to the Lakers ending his year in a winning note.

Embarrassed I named Gervin and forgot Duncan and company.

I know he isn't a great player, but I don't think Robert Horry has ever had a losing season.

Iverson played in some really bad Sixers teams his first 2 years.

Which had me thinking... NBA players who have never had a losing season? Apropos to talent impacting record, this is Melo's 12th year in the NBA and he's never had a losing season in the first 11 years. How many guys were drafted and never had a losing season after 10 years?

Shaq, MJ, Hakeem had a .500 year but never a losing one in his first ten
Kobe had at least one losing season...
Stockton/Malone?
Gary Payton?
Has Dwight had a losing season?

UKers chime in... I think that would be a cool list

Bizarre question. It's an interesting topic but it has nothing to do with TKF's comment. Nowhere in the quote you provided did he say that a good way to evaluate an individual player is to look at the record of the 12 man team. Normally "our talent" would mean the talent of the entire roster.

But to play along, Horace Grant and Robert Horry

Mario Chalmers may have a shot too!

ok, what is the level of the talent of this team? I think we are right on par.. the talent level on this team is not high my friend...
