bargs plays well at the 5 too. you ask me who i'd rather bargs or chandler and im taking chandler everyday of the year, but i just don't think we're getting the most out of chandler by playing with these guys. time to cut the cord, we're not winning a championship this year anyway.

Tyson to okc makes a ton of sense. With Bynum available it makes even more sense.

We live with Bargs at the 5 the way we play. Getting the future asset is what counts. Knicks need to think about how they can improve going forward.

Lamb is my target guy too. If okc can give us Lamb in any Tyson deal then maybe we can really consider moving Melo

I haven't seen lamb play, but is he a big upgrade over Timmy Jr? I think he is quite a bit younger and already putting up great numbers. Not sure he is available but Tyson, is one hell of a player there. They probably would want Timmy Jr to replace his bench minutes. We have to sign Bynum then.

Maybe somehow get JR out of here in a deal!

when I mentioned Lamb I was assuming he was 6'8"...he is a very long player. He's only 6'5". I think of Kendall Gill when I see him...just the body type more than anything, though his game is catching up. He needs to keep building his confidence.

THjr reminds me of Cuttino Mobley a lot.

Yeah, it's selling low right now

Right now, but the trade deadline is Feb 20 so there's plenty of time for Tyson to rehab his value for contenders. And even if he doesn't come back fully healthy before the deadline I still think there's a deal to be made with OKC. Perkins is so horrifically bad (he's easily the worst starter and probably the worst rotational player on just about every team over .500) that I have to believe that they would jump at the chance to improve there. A healthy Tyson brings OKC to whole other level and I think if they had him 2 years ago they probably would've won the title.

OKC didn't keep James Harden at Chandler's salary. They don't want to give up picks for Chandler.

"I haven't seen lamb play, but is he a big upgrade over Timmy Jr?"

In short, I'd say yes. Lamb looks a little better on defense and overall he seems like a better team player to me, a better passer, smarter positioning, etc. As they say, Lamb has mo' upside. I'd make that swap.
