first we had The ronnie Brewer principle...

now Toure murry Rules... LOL This guy is not good... shaky handle, slow with the ball, confused, can't run offense...

I hate that he has the Toney Douglas thing of the predetermined shot or pass - he can't switch gears mid possession

... but right now we got the poo-poo platter at guard. I'd rather see if he can play as opposed to, say, sacrificing yet another pick to rent Lowry (or whoever)

rofl.. poo-poo platter.. yea, you make a good observation with Toney Douglas... and that is because both murry and Douglas are not really point guards, but shooting guards.. the difference is that Douglas can actually shoot... but as you said, let him play, it doesn't matter, he is not going to make the knicks any better or worse, see if he is even an NBA talent, because next year we need to start the search for a real NBA point guard..

The thing is, I would rather see Murry than Fatton. He is slow with the ball but I think he is just a little deliberate and with a little more playing time his game will become a little faster. He really does remind me of Greivis Vasquez. Best case scenario he will be Jarret Jack 2.0

I don't see either in him actually, and jack is a darn good pro.. who can actually run point...

not sure it matters to me which player is out there, murry or felton, the result will be the same. I don't see this dude as any long or short term solution, so It really doesn't matter to me..

I know it is easy to get down on felton, but truth be told he can do thinks murry can't do... murry is not a PG and barely an NBA talent if that.. felton is, and is a decent PG.. just not a starter.. unfortunately on this team felton is a starter and that is more of a problem with the way this team is constructed than a problem with felton..

Does it look like he shoots his jumper on the way down and not at the top of his jump? There is some kind of hitch. Murry is doing well and will hopefully continue to flash and improve as he gets minutes.

I know we have made a habit of overhyping our young players in the past, but I honestly believe this time next season people will talk about Murray in the same breath as Chris Paul and Tony Parker

i think he does a thing where he's got one foot that fades back behind the other

another thing is his size, 6'5 pg sees over the d so well.

Murry just gets after it. He and shump hustle and are so disruptive. It reminds me a bit of Beverly last year just out working everyone on d and making it hard not to give him minutes.

Toure for Chris Paul. Quick: Who says no?!?

Seriously, though: At least seeing if this kid can play a lick is more entertaining than watching Beno get absolutely annilhated on D by every single opposing guard in the NBA.

Felton and Prigioni get mauled too. Beno is the only we can straight up waive without giving a second thought. As soon as they are ready, Beno should be accommodated.

My fear is Toure Murry will go back to sitting next to Cole alrich once Felton and Prigioni come back.

I think Toure's time is now. He needs to be our there learning from experience. 6'5" spider looking mofo that dribbles with his head up and can hit the mid range? Man he excites me.

It's not like we're winning. We're losing horribly. This is the time to get the kid out there.

My hope is that Tour'e shows enough in Felton and Pablo absence that the Knicks will move Melo back to 4 four to take Bargnani out of the rotation. That would hopefully create 10 minutes for Murry.

Let's just say that we are incredibly lucky, and Toure has an awesome season.

Are we able to easily resign him next year?

Not sure but the greatness of Murray and Beno sent Lin's porous D to the bench. Just happy we dont have that overrated player on our books for $15mil next year. Houston been trying to dump him all season with no takers

- I like that Toure' Murry wants to push off turnovers and misses, but I wish he'd keep things simple. Too often Friday night, he'd try to jam a pass in to a sprinting teammate instead of either pulling back or taking it to the rim itself. He just doesn't seem to have a great sense for hitting guys in stride in that context. He ran a couple lovely pick-and-rolls, so I don't think he's hopeless as a passer on the break, just needs some practice. Of course, I probably said that about Mardy Collins and Toney Douglas before, so...

- Seth Rosenthal

Toure also makes the pass and cuts towards the hoop. Unusual stuff for us.

What he described to me is a player trying to figure out where his teamates need the ball. Guys aren't expecting the pass.

Let's talk about the nice pick and roll plays and the dunks Amare and the bigs get off his passes. Let's talk about what the kid is doing well. Toure should be getting 30 mins per. I guarantee these writers will be on the sac like everyobe else and say I told you so or spin it how they like

I really don't get why we're not putting team options on years 2 and 3 of these guys' contracts so that we can keep them easily like the Rockets did with Beverly.
