winners help create a hierarchical structure and synergy. double standards can exist only among losers and in a non-leadership vacuum among players. melo is a loser and is not a leader so he sows dissension. it takes a great coach to handle a team of losers and create a winning atmosphere and it starts with treating everyone the same. if woodson were both smart and a leader he would recognize this and coach from that standard. but woodson is dumb and not a leader. woodson should force these guys to press and trap. if they dog it they sit.

i agree with him. this is a sound management principle. the trick for a manager is to do it correctly in a way that brings out the best in individual people. you gotta have your finger on the pulse.
