I thought livingston looked good in spurts but Tayshown is not ready for prime time.

I was worried that knicks shot 58% in first half and were up only 4.

I thought barkley was spot on that we take hard shots and last nite they were dropping!! It was impressive.
When that happened things started opening up for AMare who got nice looks from Kenyon and MELO!!!!

We looked good last nite. Nets are a disaster right now with AK, Deron and Pierce out. Shengilia looks like crap but Teltevoic (Teletubbie) while having his hands full with Melo last nite has put in some good minutes of late and last nite was the first time I saw his game. Dude is bigger than I thought he was. Kidd has an asset and I don't think they were looking for him. IN fact, Johnsnon looks for nobody. Let him play inside out with the second unit. He can shoot!

Team looked loose and Hardaway JR. sideline college act looks like Chris Rock on 3 redbulls! I was cute but this is the NBA and what works for the demunitive Nate does not work for Hardaway JR.

Stay loose knicks and find a groove. Amare showed life. Team is taking his liability and playing him into game shape. Pay a dude 100mil you do this.

Long season still ahead. Last nite was a nice game. Nets

We played essentially a dinosaur of a team last night--what I want to see is what happens tonight--once there is ball pressure and younger athletes who have the ability to defend. This is the majority of the east we see tonight athletic under developed teams who can still get up and down and play. The Nuggets did the same thing the Knicks did to the Nets. The Nets as is are the worst NBA team--in much worse position than us. But who cares about them--we played very well against a geriatric D league squad. Can we do it against a NBA team?

YOU HAVE seen it for most of the season.. it won't be pretty.. I am going to be out at a benefit gala tonight, so i won't watch the game...

I felt this game was an aberration. I think everyone played a perfect game this isn't the norm. Those shots that the Knicks take were hit or miss. They had good balance of shots Melo played the way he is suppose to play efficient. Play like that on a nightly basis and he will become a leader of men. Melo bottle the formula because this works.

Those shots are not hit of miss. Ball movement is contagious and bring positive energy(I'm sounding like Dantoni now) Those shots are there but the problem is as soon as the Knicks start missing they revert to ISO and pounding the ball. Cut that out and they will be watchable again

Those are hit or miss shots. Any jump shot is hit or miss Nets didn't play tight defense good teams will take those jumpers out very quickly and then back to Isolation ball.

Yeah we need crazy to win but you don't see guys like kmart squaring up after a insignificant exchange. But you will see him throw guys to the ground while still legitimately going for the ball. That's the difference.

Its the main reason I don't like garnett or dwight. Howard likes to throw elbows while the ref isn't looking and other extra things that have nothing to do with basketball.

i see what you mean,

one is tough play in the flow of the game

while the other is outside of the game

Yeah man. That's it. I don't like to see our players getting into the kinda thing that Jr Smith does. That elbow in Boston? That's not basketball. Respect the game son.

if I was Shumps coach or teammate I would be screaming on him to stay in the game. We don't need to be the ones initiating that garnett ball.

The spurs and miami are both dirty but they keep playing. They don't argue with guys and they don't argue with the refs...but we do! While other teams are kicking or ass were arguing with the refs and doing stuff that had nothing to do with basketball

Every season is different.

Anyone who took for granted a fast start with 40 per cent roster turnover, might have neglected the fact that good chemistry is never guaranteed.

Every game is different.

Is the season over? Knicks-Nets both 2.5 games from the 4th seed.

Pierce, Williams, AK and Terry all out. Nobody can predict injury. Knicks were old last year and players missed a ton of game but still won 54 games. Both teams have way more talent then the pathetic start that begins this series.

I saw the Nets beat Miami this season. Their roster is a playoff constructed one. Way too much sesaon left to call anyting.

It ain't pretty as we all saw, but no way IM counting the nets as done for the season.

Biggest concern with Nets is that KG and Pierce are probably not going to pick up their play as the season progresses. Kidd wanted to preserve those two, which is smart move. He can't do that now. He has to ride his horses hard until they assured a playoff spot.

And to think people thought the knicks were the worst off in the league. Think about the Nets future for a sec. They don't control any of their draft picks for the next few years, we at least have 2015. They don't have cap space as soon as we do. They are stuck with what they have and zero assets for quite some time. They have to see this thing thru where as we can completely switch gears next season (tank, and use max cap space) if we choose.

I just was turned off by it. Why do we have to be mad enough to fight in order for these guys to play basketball? Shump squared up to Blatche and Blatche stepped to him. Blatche should have shoved him to the ground. Calm down ***** and respect the game.

I didnt want to see the knicks taking advantage of this **** team. Beating them was not impressive and to be that wound up is corny. We shouldn't stoop to Garnrtt level. Respect the game and play together.

The schedule is really easy for the next 9 games or so.... let's see what these guys do. Knicks still need a point guard and a big. Nothing has changed.

One things for sure, Bargnani should be the starting 4 when Tyson comes back.

You must have loved the 90s!

Shump played last night like he was showcasing himself.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Ohhh shut up, grow some balls man. You turned off the game after that ***** "standoff"? Lmao..you mean, you've been watching these terrible games, but turned it off because OF THAT??? And a game that we were actually playing well in for once to boot? Wow.

And you lose credibility when you talk about "shut up and respect the game, don't stoop to Garnett's level..bla bla bla" and mention "our" Oak, Mason, Starks, etc in the same sentence. You know, they're only the same guys who the rest of the league thought were bush league hacks. Get a grip...Shumpert didn't do anything to that punk Blatch.

OK how do we go from looking like a worst 5 team to a top 5 team in 2 games. The Knicks havent won back to back 30 pt since I can remember. Everything about these two games was incredible. I pray the Knicks can sustain anything close to this--no one wants the Knicks to sck--we just want to enjoy a good team--and what we have seen the last 2 games is the best basketball that I can remember even when we were good.

The Answer Man Never Forces His Shot

Q. BRIGGS - How do we go from looking like a worst 5 team to a top 5?team in two games?

A. Carmelo said it.

“Me scoring 30 wasn’t working” I wanted to do something a little different to see if it worked”

I been saying it until I was blue in the face change your game. Efficiency. Using teammates he'll Jordan did it what makes Melo so different.
