This fan base is so all over the place. rather than be patient and wait for Bargs to get his bearings we had a group who were convinced he was a bum based on a few shaky early games. Then you have the contingent that doesn't really like Tyson. Both groups are off base. Just let this team keep playing and developing chemistry. Let's see if down the line we can get something from Jeremy Tyler when he gets healthy. I don't think we need to make any trades. We still have Murry who could be developed. We have THJ to develop. We need to stop panicking and let things develop. we've got time before the trade deadline.
You want to get the most value for a player. If Bargs is averaging 20-10 you know he is playing above his head it would make for an ideal time to deal and reap the benefits of his current play.
I actually think he's always had the potential to be a better player than he's been. I can't imagine him actually being a 20/10 player, but if he actually did do this I wouldn't trade him. How many players are even capable of doing that? It's a short list. If Bargs is doing that then Woody would've gotten thru to him and we would have a real player on our hands. Just remember that Bargs just turned 28 and is capable of scoring 30 or more on any given night. Who else are we getting who would have that kind of upside?
