My dream Knicks team would be run by someone other than James Dolan. That guy will find a way to screw things up.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

We have to trade Melo for assets first. Otherwise we will be adding castoffs and b-level "stars" to Melo

Guys like H20, Mcdyess, Marbury, Francis, curry, Crawford, Randolph & Amare

Of course, I could be wrong and Kevin Love could be a total moron.

How do yo know love wouldn't want to play next to melo? and why wouldn't it work

Rondo and Love is exactly what we need, either or would be nice, both would be JACK POT.

I don't think this roster is a mess, i think when you play 10 to 12 guys you have a tougher time to build chemistry both in your starting line up, and your bench.

Add to the fact you don't have any proven leaders, and no one is even playing at there level or above, yeah....then it looks messy. Lack of stability always bring chaos

How do I know?

I don't. I can't produce a study or a lab analysis that tells you for sure he will not come.

But why do I say he won't?

Because I've been alive for the last 30 or so years and I've been living and breathing and not living under a rock. I know I'm young, I know I'm a punk, but 30 ain't nothing to sneeze at.

Just take my word for it, I guess.

I don't think there's enough space on the floor Melo and another big. Unless you are turning Love into strictly a jump shooter.

you need a guy like Kyrie who will be the primary playmaker. Like Melo had with billups and Iverson his best season statistically and the season he made it all the way to the WCF

If people found out James Dolan aka Isiah Thomas was doing this sabotaging ON PURPOSE they wouldn't believe. For such is the American Sports Fan that wants to believe the best in everyone.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Because a championship wouldn't increase the value of the Knicks...yes much better to attract negative attention having people complaining about ticket prices because the product on the floor sucks! The Average American sports fan doesn't want to believe in the best in everyone, the average American sports fan just has more common sense than playa2.

I would love to get Lebron or love but it's not happening

Kyrie would be perfect being from NJ and all but he is not a free agent then

Yeah Aldridge is a questionable fit, just like Amare was when healthy. Rondo is a good fit i think because he can manage the game and make it easier for Melo. Plus he improves our D as well. Not a great shooter, but as long as you have 2 other shooters on the floor thats ok. But my dream fits for Melo would be Kyrie, Steph Curry, or Lillard. I really believe us missing out on Curry in 2009 really set this franchise back a few years.

You really think melo is going to be playing at the level he's playing now for the 2015/16 season, if your in your 30's, then you know you get wiser as you get older.

Woodson will not be coaching the knicks..In other words the way you look at things now, will not be remotely the same in 12 months. There is light at the end of the tunnel, you just got to look hard..

Why would love leave the wolves who can offer him more money. It would be absolutely stupid on his part.

Yea and Minnesota has a good team with Rubio, Martin and pekovic. I just don't see Love in the city of New York. He might like the comfort of Minnesota where the pressure pales in comparison. And like you said he makes more staying

I prefer Kyrie, Curry's 3pt shots would bother me on nights they aren't falling. Kyrie has a more diverse game, I don't know if he's better but he can do more.

Has Curry ever missed a shot?

He would work with Melo and actually would give Melo more space to hog the ball. Melo would just have to learn to pass the ball out of doubles. Maybe having a guy who can hit a shot at an incredible rate might be enough to entice him to pass

Why would Curry come to the Knicks when GS can offer more money and just as good chance at winning.

We were talking about missing out on him in the draft. GS is good he is not leaving to come here. Cleveland could suck and Kyrie may welcome the challenge of coming home and being the guy to turn the Knicks around. However Gilbert will do everything in his power to keep him after already losing Lebron

Why you think he's overrated? Or won't fit with Melo?

I used to think he was a bit overrated but I think he is good with pieces around him. Like Melo

Rubio Martin and pekovic is good. He finally has some pieces to cover his difficiences. They won't lose 60 games again

I hear you but Kyrie isn't going to give up money just to come back home that would be stupid. The way the CBA is made up you aren't going to see a lot of Howard type situations. The middle of the pack type of players are going to switch teams. Max players will stick to their teams.

both... Im not even sure Love is much better than David Lee. Zero defense, pads his rebounding stats. He's the best shooting big and is a good player, but a complimentary piece.

We are using cap space from Chandler, so that leaves, Melo, Shump and drafted players we dont have picks for. We need bonafid build around guys.
