James Dolan is.
So until we get a COACH AND GM ON THE SAME PAGE THERE WILL BE NO PROGRESS WITH THIS ROSTER OR TEAM.
Fans need to boycott, the team is sabotaged from the top down.
Nobody plays consistently for a lame duck coach but rookies and bench fodder.
The Knicks had a coach and gm on the same team but Grunwald was fired. The Knicks gm is limited in what they can do with the team because of the cap and sins of past gms. Grunwald had a very patient, meticulous approach. Bringing in Pablo and Cope for contracts under 500 grand last year was brilliant. Getting KMart brilliant. Udrih, and Metta were steals based on their past performances and fit with what the Knicks were doing. For all of the complaints about Bargs, Grunwald knew that Melo needed another scorer if the team was going to be successful. I don't think you can blame a gm trying to win now for trading a first round pick three years after the trade is compensated, especially if the pick is compromised. Bargs could fit talent wise and also benefits the Knicks in 2015 if they want to reload when most of their salaries expire. Not sure why Grunwald was fired but it certainly changed things for Woodson. The dysfunction started just before training camp and seems to be continuing. I think Shump is moved next. I am not sure if that isn't the smart move. My concern is that I am not sure Mills gets back what Grunwald would in a deal.
