Knicks1248 - with all due respect, you appear to be overlooking the fact that this roster is composed of new people in new roles in a new season (playing against new teams) who do not know Mike Woodson and vice versa. Would you offer that Jason Kidd has "loss" the Nets or that any team is doing everything that any coach is asking of them, five or six games into the season?

The NBA season is a marathon, and our beloved Knicks are still making on-court introductions. this is not pickup ball - winning chemistry requires months of experience, it does not happen in a few days. Mike Woodson, as he admits, is in the discovery stage.
... unless you think the enigmatic and underwhelming Andrea Bargnani, the volatile elder Ron World Peace, and the impetuous yoot THJr should instantly mesh with the "chip on my shoulder" Raymond Felton, the 58 year old sophomore Pablo Prigioni and the highly responsible lead dog Carmelo Anthony would cohere overnight - the real work does not happen until the west coast swing, or the flights are three hours late due to weather.
Just wait until wild man JRSmith rips off his warmup pants. How does Mr Smith adjust to his new running buddies on the fly, in his first game action - while testing a repaired knee?
Mike Woodson is no magician. He is just a coach.
