He's charging a mortgage payment for 1 seat, for 1 game and you got about 1000 celebs, powerful business partners, and a Nets owner who's giggling at your roster moves.

I would have went right up to Woodson, slap him in the back of his bald head, like yo, yo, yo, WTF are you doing out there, or do you even know??

What do you agree with? I think everyone is fine with him being angry after that performance. The ridiculous part is that he channeled his anger first on Steve mills, who has no responsibility for the roster up until this point, and then out of all the actual culprits, he deflects the blame to the dancers of all people! It's just so childish. As if they are what's holding the Knicks back!

He could have easily went to steve to vent his frustration. Maybe he's like get on the phone and see what kind of trades are available, I really think you need to have a talk with woodson, how do they look in practice, what changes you think we need to make. It could have been anything, I'm a little suspect of the article base on who wrote ( a knick hater) it, could be exaggerated, none the less, dolan has a pulse.

melo: "i want to be a free agent"
dolan: "i expect to win a title this season"

these two statements have created a **** cloud hovering above msg and it affects every single member of the franchise.

no they don't, just has clouded a few fan-boys and exasperated posters.

REAL STORY

Knicks owner James Dolan was rightfully disgusted with what he saw from his team on Sunday night at The Garden when the Timberwolves raced out to a 40-19 first-quarter lead en route to an 109-100 win, but a report stating he is looking to get rid of the Knicks City Dancers or reduce their role is erroneous, according to a Garden source.
The source said there is a movement to upgrade the routines by the popular Knicks City Dancers to make them less like “regular cheerleaders.”
“We’re in the process of a rebranding of the Knicks City Dancers,” the source said. “We’re looking at making them bigger and better so they’re not just regular cheerleaders.”
The Garden source added the plan is to make the routines more “classy,” citing the tap-dance number that was performed Sunday night. The number of routines changes from game to game. The report stated Dolan wanted the dancers to do less dancing and more T-shirt throwing. The source said that is not the idea of the restructuring.
“The organization just wants better in-game entertainment,” the Garden source said. “They often help toss T-shirts. No change there.”

Dolan found out Hugh Hefner used to bang many playmates and when he went to the dancers dressing room to pick one out they got horrified at the prospect. Dolan got pissed off and the rest is history.

I read dolans wife is pretty sharp so we can only hope their children will one day lead the organization better than Jimbo.

I don't wish any i'll to befall upon him, just the team succeed and if he is an obsticle well then so be it if he should become unable to be its owner.

Mills picked up Woody's option.

Maybe Dolan wanted to see results first.

The Knicks City Dancers might want to come up with a new name for themselves, since they haven’t been doing much dancing lately.

In fact, Tuesday night at the Garden during the Knicks’ loss to the Bobcats, the Dancers who normally perform several times a game during halftime and timeouts did not perform one single routine and were nowhere to be found at halftime.

The only dancing done on the night was in the crowd with 10:30 left in the fourth when the video board displayed a Dance Cam showing fans showing off their moves in the crowd.

The Daily News reported in Tuesday’s editions that the benching of the dance team came on orders from unhappy Garden chairman James Dolan, although no one seems to know why.

The first sign of Knicks City Dancers on Tuesday came right before the game during Knicks player introductions. They surrounded the players and briefly danced — more like a shuffle — with orange glow sticks.

They did not make an appearance during two first-quarter timeouts and did not perform after the end of the first quarter. The dancers came out twice after the end of the second quarter, and on both occasions they merely tossed T-shirts into the crowd.

Here’s the full breakdown of their in-game involvement, or lack thereof. No dancing shoes needed.

FIRST QUARTER
-- Two timeouts, no sign of the dancers.

The dancers are seldom seen on floor, not performing one dance routine.

SECOND QUARTER
-- Officials’ timeout, 8:23 left in the second quarter: six dancers out for a fan contest, holding up cards denoting how much money a fan could earn in a shot contest. Half-court shot would’ve been worth $10,000. Six girls, six signs (one held the dollar sign.)

-- Knicks’ timeout, 6:15 left in the second: Two dancers escort Monsignor Scanlan HS and Gauchos coach Dwayne Mitchell to midcourt. John Starks presents him with a jersey.

-- Bobcats’ timeout, 2:56 left in the second: DJ performance, six dancers out tossing T-shirts into the crowd, their most strenuous work of the night.

HALFTIME
-- The Knicks were down 10 at the break and booed off the court, but the dancers didn’t appear to cheer them up. They didn’t come out on the court at all during the halftime intermission.

THIRD QUARTER
-- Three timeouts, no dancers.

FOURTH QUARTER
-- Bobcats’ timeout, 10:30 left. Finally some dancing, only this was a Dance Cam showing some dancing fans.

-- Officials’ timeout, 5:26 left. Six dancers were on T-shirt tossing duty again.

-- Knicks’ timeout, 48.2 seconds left. More T-shirt tossing.

He's a child. He's a 58 year old child with a crap ton of money. He shows all of the characteristics of a child and very few of an adult. This is who is running the Knicks. If you don't like it, feel free to switch teams. I won't have a problem with that.

So... yeah... like I said before, we need to somehow force this idiotic owner to sell our Knicks, NOW. But hell, I'll take a free Knicks T-shirt thrown by those dancers any day, any time. I sure hope his dad, Charles Dolan, would do something about his mistake - giving the team to 'might not be his' son.
