this is another way to look at this : what happened to this place where every discussion should turn into a Melo argument ? Sadly this is what's happening in game threads (which is very annoying but can be at least understandable), but also in unrelated topics (which is very annoying AND not fine). It is great for anyone to be entitled to his own opinion and to voice this opinion when the subject arises .... but what is the point to mention this opinion in every topic and discussion? Then this is propaganda and I don't feel like propaganda should be granted approbation, because it ruins the purpose of the forum. I don't spend my time writing in a negative way about a given player or team that I dislike for any (mostly irrational) reason out of respect for other forum readers and also because this not something I can relate to in life (this is pointless and make no sense in my opinion), in return I expect other forum users to do the same. Or at least they should keep it in a reasonable way and mention their opinion when and where appropriate ...

If I continually came on here and talked about how great amare was, and you didn't agree. would you just let it go, or would you respond? I had responded by letting loweyecue know that I didn't want every thread to dissolve into a Melo discussion and perhaps all he needed to do was clarify himself ("loweyecue, if you want to clarify your post and mention you were talking about Kyre, feel free.").

If every thread is about Melo, then this place becomes very boring and discussion becomes stale, I don't want that.

I do expect long time posters to help me to understand and help out with this when they can. loweyecue had 2 chances to kindly let both hol and I know that he wasn't in fact talking about Melo but rather was taking a shot at Kyry and moved this whole thing on very easily, but he chose a different path. If loweyecue can't respect a simple request or know that there forums are not just about him wanting to post whatever he wants, then he can kindly move on to a different place to express himself.

But honestly martin, did loweyecue's comment even mention carmelo's name? if people want to read into his comments, then that is their problem... I think posters trying to read into what he said has caused more of a problem than the comment itself..

Bonnie, let me repeat: I do expect long time users to be helpful. Andrew and I have spent our own money and time creating a site for all of us to use. Each of us can choose to be helpful or not and I certainly felt that this was not happening. There was a lot more said than what you just quoted. The easy thing for loweyecue to express would have been "Oh yeah, I meant Kyre, sorry about the confusion."
