Well if Bargs does come off the bench I think we might see some big line ups that would push mwp, melo, and shump up a spot. I'm not sure how I feel about it but I think I remember seeing it in the preseason.

Also, I liked how Melo focused on getting Bargs going in the preseason and genereally passed the ball well to everyone. I think he needs to try to get Shump going early. Tyson and Shump need to get going early.

Might as well start Bargnani and see what you have. We already know what the playoffs will look like if Melo doesn't get help on offense. Artest is not th answer

I'm pretty sure the Knicks will see what they have regardless of when he comes in the game

Think you are seriously underestimating Shump this year. You could see his shot becoming much better last season and I think he has the clear ability to be a major factor on offense this season if he asserts himself.

Artest would be slotted in there a tone setter, not a scorer, and I hope he is starting come tomorrow night and for the season.

Shumpert has been my favorite knick since we drafted him. I hope you are right. If he plays like a superstar we should be fine offensively. Indiana, Chicago and Brooklyn's size will still destroy us in the playoffs though. Melo and Artest are too small. Tyson will be battling the flu

Yup couldn't agree more about that - the amount of offensive possessions big teams will keep alive on us will be very irritating to watch.

This is why I say in the last 5 min of the 4th qtr we should have Shump, JR, Melo and Chandler and Martin in the game. Leave Pablo and Felton on the bench IF THE OPPOSING TEAMS GO BIG.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Okay, is anyone else starting to get disturbed at how often the Knicks are following BRIGGs suggestions lately? From offseason moves, to lineup rotations. I'm sure there's been at least 4 or 5 times the past few months where BRIGGs has started thread saying the Knicks should do such and such, and then a few days later the Knicks do it!

Have you got a new job you're telling us about BRIGGs?!

Bargs is going to the bench. Starting lineup will most likely be Felton, Shump, MWP, Melo, Tyson.

The funny thing about having World Peace is he was the type of player we thought was the missing piece last season. We were filtering thru guys like James White, Ronny Brewer, Chris Copeland, etc in the starting lineup, and we knew all along we needed a guy who is a big SF that can defend and knock down open shots and make life easier on Melo. Metta finally brings that to the table. That being said, i am still on the fence about which one i think should start. Bargnani still seems like he could be a nice compliment to Melo, but we will see.

Wow, BRIGGS seems to have more influence on this team than CAA!

Who cares about preseason? I mean really. Stat Bargs and see how it works out the 1st week, if he struggles THEN you can make changes.

Same crap as last year Melo is the only scorer in the starting lineup smh , I like MWP he would be great coming off the bench for defense and to hit a few 3's but his starting days are over , Bargs deserved a chance to get back in shape hes only 28 years old , I feel like his confidence was already shaken in Toronto now he's benched? And Amare & Bargs off the bench oh man I can't wait to see that defensive unit.
No layups!

Bargs must not be showing a lot at practice
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Artest is in for Bargs.... he spaces the floor much better right now shooting-wise.
