Starting center on a 54 game winning team, olympian DPOY with a ring and we now scrapping him?

Wish trade: Any team Rondo goes to that does not play in Manhatten!

Tyson's play in the playoffs, his lack of leadership in the playoffs and his being a 'leader' in the media without taking ownership for his own play has me down on him. I will root for him if he is a knick but I lost a lot of respect for him last spring and his play was horrible.

Wonder if he had Mono, or something other. I don't trust the MSG propaganda outlet. IM not saying he had something to be embarassed about, just something they might deem "unmarketable". Maybe he has Lupus?

Lets see if he can return to form. If its physical I can't hate on a guy. The whole media thing is funny. MSG has media consultants standnig next to these guys so its weird.

His beard sucks. NBA players mouths move and the same crap spews out.

It's interesting how after what we saw last season that there are so many people that think this highly of Chandler..... it's just as ridiculous as you think my trade is

That trade is dog ****, who trades their starting center for two backups.

Even though felton is doo-doo he's better than whomever takes his place.

Fair trade on first glance but then you realize Houston already has Dwight.

Remember when people argued Tyson is better or they rather have him than Dwight hahahahaha

it's not always a reflection of Tyson's play but a reflection of how bad the other players are.

I would rather have Tyson than Dwight. Dwight is big for nothing and isn't a very smart player. For all the muscless he can get thrown off his position fairly easy. Tyson locked him up the lat year he was in Orlando. That I'll give him.

I still believe Tyson is trash though. Overrated. My trade prices that is possible to trade him but also very hard to find something that won't make the fans kill themselves because they love to suck the Tyson sack so much

In the same post you say Tyson is trash and that you'd take him over Dwight Howard? That is an odd combination of beliefs!

A GM would have a heart attack on the spot if another GM called and said I will give u Dwight Howard for Brandon Bass and Kris Humphries.

We don't lose rebounding and not much defense Humphies numbers proved that. We still can run pick and rolls but Kris can actually hit the jumper and finish with something other than a dunk. Bargnani becomes the center pulling opposing centers out the paint. Melo is back to the 3.

Brandon Bass would be great as that extra big. Amare can fill in at center. Metta is in the mix too at the 3/4. Kmart in the mix at 4/5.

Beno starts with Jr....
Sign Bobby Brown and play Shump of the bench.

Then we go to war.

Thoughts

Isiah Thomas and Scott Layden dont even like this trade and they love over paying mediocre forwards

I think the strategic way to play Tyson is to reduce his regular season minutes and ask him to shoot that 14 footer he is very capable of hitting. In the season Dallas won the championship Tysone avg 5 minutes LESS than he did last year and was able to hold up during the playoffs. I would keep him around 25 minutes and just ask him to have confidence once or twice a game in his 14 footer without changing his regular game. Its already proven that a team with Chandler at center can win a chip. But I think relying on him for 33+ and consider him a pseudo all star that he is not--then thats a mistake. We need guys like Amare Tyson and Kenyon to play less--we need to use all of our assets. This team is basically set for next season for the most part--lets just see where it goes.

How about a 3 way trade between Knicks, rockets, and Portland. Where we gt Asik and Lin then rockets get Aldridge and Portland gets Tyson and other add one from rockets and Knicks. Say add hardaway jr and Greg smith to Portland. That should be a good enough package for Aldridge. Rockets get their PF. Portland gets a starting center and possible starting young PF and a young perimeter player.

Portland traded for Robin Lopez and would need a 4 although they picked up Robinson.

You the man Briggs. I agree. If Tyson had a jumper I might ease off him. He just doesn't improve. After 12 years?
