what about Petro? at least he has some more playing experience (as a starter)
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

It is a forgone conclusion that Bargs and Stat will command minutes at PF. Expect Mello to be featured at SF more this year. Last I checked; JR, Martin, Meta, Shumpert, Lesley can all be featured at SF.
The Knicks do not need another SF for the 15th roster spot.
Maybe the coaching staff talked to Melo about playing small forward. He looked thin/smaller then usual at his softball game. I wonder if he is losing weight to be faster. He did say he was in better shape then last summer.
I'm glad he's taking his conditioning more seriously these days (started last offseason and appears to have stuck)- he was reaching that age where not working out and keeping his weight down would have started to become increasingly detrimental.
Hamed Haddadi, an Iranian national, worked out for the Knicks on Friday at the team’s training facility, according to ESPN New York. The Knicks want a big man for their final roster spot, the site reports.
