The right question to ask is why we spend the little money we had on a old guy who will not be able to take on the starting job if something were to happen to Felton. And we are counting on Shumpert to to do that we are truly fudged.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

How can you claim this when that old guy actually started for the team, leading us to one of our best stretches of the season?

Prigioni is being criticized here simply because younger point guards were available at close to his price, but truth be told he was one of the most effective players last season amd with his durability seems poised to remain as effective the rest of his contract.

Agree. Knicks won 12 in a row and went 16-2 with Prigs at the point. The team is so much better when he is on the floor and just wins.

Hello for Bermuda

My final thoughts SL

I thought both Tyler at C and Jennings at PF clearly not only made a roster invite but should be signed. We need 3 bigs--thats 1 PF 1 C who are 22 and 24. We sign one vet big and were good.

Murry and Leslie will go to camp but have no guarantees. Both need to pick up like Copeland imho to make the team. Obviously we have some loot into CJ and we can potentially say 15th man D league--but not at the expense of either Tyler or Jennings who played there way in imho. I like this youthful injection. The team needs it--the Spurs did this with Leonard Green Joseph and Di Colo and it helped enhance the team--look how many points their avg went up.

Enjoy

I see the bulls have waived Malcolm Thomas- one of the best rebounders in Vegas. As we still haven't addressed our rebounding weakness should we sign him or stick with Tyler and Jennings?

Living the high life!

I agree about Tyler and Jennings. I really don't get why so little has been written about Jennings regarding the summer league- seems writers were focused on Tyler, but Jennings posted good numbers consistently. Thought he's get a bit more attention than he has.

Unless its KMart hedging his bets and waiting on another offer, I just don't understand this delay signing him.
We need his toughness. As some point in the season, Amare and/or Typhoid Chandler will go down and we'll need a tough big man.
Matchstick Camby is gone and we can no longer pretend to be getting his rebounds/blocks off the bench. We replaced him with
a 7'0" version of Richard Hamilton, from whom we can expect no rebounding and defense. We need Kenyon's toughness. He's the
only guy coming off the bench that we can depend on for some defense. Please, just get it done already!

Correction: Richard Hamilton play(s/ed) defense.

Which now means our boy Dolie is going to ensure he goes somewhere else. Nice audition, thanks for the memories, Kenyon!

Not sure that's the case- he's been Instagramming posters fans have sent telling the Knicks to hurry up and offer him a contract. Also Grunnie carefully chose his words regarding K-Mart which made it sound like we hasn't made an offer yet.
